TheGreenMonster going to stir the pot
The think the cars handle near the same in career as online. Career is a little easier. But the problem is that no ones is racing online. You don’t have any online racing experience. I seem to be one of the only one that has over 450 online races and of course with winning there is losing I have 80+ losses. Everyone seems to be worried about there stat, having a negative number reflecting there online racing status. Yea sure it’s rough getting rammed at 100 mph or sliding out on a turn but its all in the fun for racing. It’s called sportsmanship.
I have less air in my rear tires than in the front thus helping it handle better online. And a little aerodynamics for the cornering beside that it’s all default. If I screw it up and the car is all over the road then I reset back to default and reapply my tweaks and start again. I have a different setup on my cars for racing online than when racing in career mode.
If you have a Nvidia card then download this latest driver 191.07 - that also now supports SLI in Shift - for those using that. But in any case if you play Shift install it and remember to select your operating system.
Have you tried to install the Shift patch yet? It is needed for online play and otherwise you will have to wait and see if there will be a new patch out to deal with all the problems people are having.

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): Haven't it been quite dead for a while now? It's really a shame, as back when this was awesome place to hang out, and, well. I did stop being that active here, as unfortunatelly I kind of lost my love towards Need For Speed games. It's a shame, really...

CmdrTomalak (PC/PS3/PS4): Yep. Dead. Dead. Dead... Somebody should put it out of its misery. It all started waaaaaay back when Most Wanted came out and we all met on the EA forums and decided to branch out on our own. Sad way to go...

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): And unfortunately, the way Need For Speed games were for quite long time didn't help this place at all, for starters, I dropped off from NFS games completely. I did get both Shifts, Hot Pursuit (2010) and later Rivals, but they weren't enough...

Chandrian: I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players.

Chandrian: The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server.

Chandrian: You have to start with a new driver profile, but the progression isn't that hard. If you wanna play NFSW online again, then I advise downloading the launcher of this online server and also joining this Discord server:
