anyone knows how to master corner 7 and 9 on Brno Track? i tried more than 50times but i still cant get it. You need to go really fast and you need to go pretty wide on the last exit. I got it during the 20 lap endurance race, but before I got it I screwed up my valid time by going a bit too wide once. That's curve 7, I do not know about 9. ...and use some slower car. I used Terlinqua Mustang. Jussi

In real life i bet he uses the rev limiter to stop the engine revving to hard in the chosen gear for each track, and setups for different tracks, if thats how he drives... The do call him "Captain Clutch Kick", that would explain it, lol. \ Revit, actually, I have a brilliant idea! We also have a Rev-Limiter kinda option in our Logitech Profiler. It is called Throttle Range under Accelerator Axis Properties. I used it to custom-adjust handbrake pedal range in Hot Pursuit 2010 to be able to glide through the corners. It may work well for drift events in Shift2 as RevLimiter analog and Handbrake Limit control. Unfortunately, we can not adjust it for every single gear separately, but we can make different adjustments for different cars and engines It is just extra paperwork to write down different profiler settings for different cars. One more question for you, Revit. Do you drift with Tracktion assist on Low or without all assists? That sounds like a great idea bro, but before we try that i'll post up my setup today, i'm pretty close to having it dialed i think.. I sold my Works S15 last night and rebuilt it without the works package so i could put semi street tyres on it and have the horsepower of the skyline 6, it seems to be the best balanced after the S14... I'm using Jr's mustang tune, on experienced with traction control on full, no steering or throttle assists. I'll post up my setup a little later, but my best suggestion to start drifting for anyone is the S14 with the S15 engine, plenty of horsepower but not too much to start with, also Miami is the best track to get the feel for drifting

No prob bro, just one more thing, the best line isn't always the best line for drifting.. Remember back to prostreet where we had the red and while lines on the track and they were the line, on Miami those lines are there, follow them, not the lite up line

Thx for the info, Bro.
I am working next 5 days, but I am planning to find at least an hour a day to practice my drifts.
And plz do not post your tuning set-up yet.
Me and, I am sure, many other ISRC Members and avid Shift2 players want to test your previous suggestions + our own setups first before you reveal your creation.
Otherwise, because we all lasy, we will just apply your settings without even thinking or testing on our own.

ok i managed to master corner 9 but i cant get the corner 7 EDIT: after seeing the videos again about these corners i know what i was doing wrong on corner 7, i always followed the best line on the last exit but i had to cut it early so now i have all tracks mastered

I mean Z06 that one wins in the career mode. Some volks installed works package on it for time attack racing. But mine, maxed up to 1499 rating without most of the engine upgrades feels like a great drift machine. And, for some who still do not know how to drift or what parts to install, watch this Gittin's Miami drift tutorial:

The car i have been testing with great success is the AE86 Corolla, that thing is just awesome on Ebisu, just don't put the 2jz in it untill you think you can handle it, lol.. also all the Nissans are good drifters, it's a toss up between the S14 and the S15 Silvia, with the rb26 in it... I have given the R/T Charger a blast at drifting, with the viper V10 in it it is something else, and bloody awesome on the ovals. The one thing you Don't want to do is use a Works car, you can't change the tyres to the 1st option, which is a must for drifting!!!11 What i have found though is certain cars suit certain tracks better, but any of em can be muscled around, even an r34 skyline, hehehe

I wish
EA will put some australian branded Holden cars into the game, or at least Ponty GTO from previous series.
There is also a well known in the drift scene RX-7 Bathurst edition.

Yeah, me too!! I think it's for the same reason we don't have the Solstice, Pontiac are bust Yeah, that would be inspired by the car Allan Moffet drove

It looks like there is a simple solution for all drift lovers. It's name is - Logitech Rumblepad 2 for $20 or any other pad with FFB features: www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/controllersToday, I was browsing web and found one very funny post about it from GR3wasa that I want to quote here: " 8+ Hours of practice with momo racing wheel = 3rd place in first drift event. First try with logitech rumblepad 2 = first place in the very same event and at the next one too
Driving all assists off, medium AI, manual gears
Shift was crap. Shift 2 was good until the first drift event.
Someone forgot to change front wheel bearings or something cause they obviously bad. And someone needs to clean up the tracks. Its like 100 000 * chicks ran a marathon on it while dripping sweat, tears and ***** juice on it just before the race. There also appears to be powerful electric magnets hidden behind curve walls which will pull and crash your car just when you are finally in process of making that perfect drift.
There is obviously a big problem here. How in the **** did it get past the beta?
Its hard to live a life of a perfectionist. I simply cannot move on before I nail these drift events and there is no way im gonna drive em with rumblepad. " P.S.> Watch carefully what type of controller Jr. Gittin is using while setting his drift autolog records: www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-GyR2x3RdUP.S.S.> Jr.Gittin talking trash in spanish + his new competitor: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4otSvX8h04E&feature=related (I was laughing about 0:50 part in the video, the end is also not bad for a hobby movie-maker ) Nice Mazda Shift2 drifting + relaxing moods: www.youtube.com/watch?v=slXofMpeFBc&feature=relatedAnd this one, real one, 100% recommended from me : www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksbY5x88wR8&feature=related
