Hi guys!
I installed the Patch and when I went to My Cars to reset all Setups and Delete the Cars I know I wouldnt probably use anymore, I found all 5 new Car Models there, in 5 new slots... Is this how it was supposed to be? :x
Also, each time I sold a Car or bought one, the cars would shuffle... This also happens to you guys?
Cya and thanks!

Hi!
Yes, exactly like what happened to me... Wonder why they did it? :S Anyway, about the 5 slots... I think they are 5 extra slots... I think we have the same spots we had before (around 22, if I am not mistaken).
Cya!

Rogerio have you been able to notice any difference performance wise or in handling with the patch installed compared to before?
I am still unable to match you and Norman´s times on e.g Road America with the Zonda. I wonder why? Perhaps I am getting too old for this, but I should not be 2 secs slower.
On a side note I was racing Redarrow last night online 3 times. Redarrow (also known as Max60 in Undercover) was incredible fast - d**n cheater - but funny that people are talking about him online and thinks he is the real deal. Also - one guy told me, that Ziggel has done a 5.51 at Nordschleife, but I find that hard to believe though. He should not be a cheater from what I have been told.

I am pretty sure that Ziggel is not a cheater but I also can't imagine that 5:51 to be honest.
He is insanely good though. If you want some time to compare that he really did for sure, I raced him on sunday in a competition race, it was 20 laps on Road America with Maserati and his best lap was a 1:52:190. That was already with the new version.

Hi Poul! I just started today playing with Patch, a 4h ago in fact! I still dont know what to think really, but one thing I am pretty sure: the setups from before dont work like before... But I have a feeling cars will be able to match previous records... Setup options seem to make more sense then before... I will need a few more hours to elaborate on this! About Road America, is the only record I have I consider above average... Already MrRaser came with some questions as you... He spent an afternoon on it and the best he did was over 1s away from me (I did 1m 48.4s in the meantime). So, I guess I really have a neck for this track! :S Rogério

Hey Rogerio, I agree with you, the cars handle different, but i think times will be very close, if not faster. The cars have a bit more oversteer after the patch, so lap times "should" be faster. I find it a little easier to find a good balance with the handling of faster cars since the patch. Especially on the tracks with alot of corners. Adjustments seem to do as they should, for the most part.

Hi!
Yes, after another hour I am arriving to similar conclusion... The Zonda seems to bounce even more, but then the setup compensates also a lot more... Changes have more direct effects and you can feel them... Also, some "crazy setup settings combinations" seem to have lost its edge...
About beating or being faster, my big question is the times done by the Corvette with nigh downforce... Can any car beat them? I will start testing LP640 soon to see what it can do.
Cya!

Rogério Are you saying here that the Corvette is faster - where? Rogerio did you use accelerator dead zone? I tried setting it to 15% and that made me able to use full throttle on Road America without spinning off - I just need to be careful and have the car point in the right direction without jerking the wheel too hard. Otherwise I will spin off immediately and this is where I lose time, when I compare to Norman´s video of the 2 laps in PBRC. I think I will make a video of the Zonda and the Murch, then you can tell me what you think I do wrong. Hopefully it is a driving line question and not the fact that I am not able to control the car in speeds similar to yours - that would mean its a setup question in either in game settings or Logitech profiler or just a fact that cars DO perform differently (Like Jeff thinks) on different systems. Hi!
The Corvette "WAS" faster on some tracks, the very twisty ones... But for that would use over between 40 and 60 downforce, where now its limited to 24... What I mean is: can any car beat the old high downforce Corvette? In WR I guess this question will be answered soon...
About the Zonda, yesterday, already using the v1.02, I also had some problems not spinning with it... That is one of the reasons I had to change the setup... I am still not sure the impact the changes I made will have on some tracks, only time will tell... Anyway, I never used deadzone... What I sometimes do it 1 or 2 seconds with 50% on accelerator before pushing it.

The cars have a bit more oversteer after the patch, so lap times "should" be faster. I have already read this a few times now on here but actually I totally disagree with it. I think there is less oversteer and instead more understeer after the patch. Although I have to say I never use any cars with setup. But at least for the BMW M3 GT2 which I use very often to practice for tournaments I can say this for sure. The car is not spinning around anymore in some corners where it did before but instead I have to turn in stronger and brake more in some other corners because the car just doesn't steer as much as before with the same wheel settings. In some hairpins I now have to turn my wheel 100% which I never needed to and couldn't even do before the patch because the car would surely spin around when accelerating.

I am trying to make a good setup on the Murch to be able to compete online at Road America. I am not sure what this car should be able to do, but i do think a very low 1.49 is possible - perhaps even better with a better setup than mine or a better driver than me So far I have done 1.50.066, but after some tuning i have now improved my 1st lap to very low 1.54 and I do think when I get a perfect fast lap I can do low 1.49. I will upload a video once i get that 1.49, but I am really tired every night from work, so i have trouble keeping my eyes open This 1.50 was far from perfect, but I will try again tomorrow or in the weekend.
