So i needed a Works upgraded car to participate in some tier 4 event thus i got myself this pretty black Murciélago and upgraded it with a Works treatment .. Set me back a fair amount of cash, but it's worth it! But now all of a sudden i'm turning from a tight, precise, controlled racer into a daring, mean motherfucker now that i found out that big cakeslicer on my front bumper works (!) great for overtaking opponents by going underneath them ... I'm not sure if this is what i really want, but it sure comes in handy! Grtz, Bandit (got his first gold Master badge for trading paint )

On my system (PC), the works Murciealgo was very slow. At Willow Springs, it barely got past 150mph on the front straight and could barely get past 140 mph in turn 8 (next to last turn). Lap times were much slower than the sub 1:13's I can get with the works Z06 or the Zonda R at Willow Springs
Not wanting to run a slow car with a 20.99 rating, I ended up using the Gallardo for the tier 4 manufacture series (rated at 16.6).

I already won the manufacturer series for Lamborghini And it's fast enough for me, though i agree it's top speed is not really that great... Bandit

In my PC with Default Setup, it tops at 295 km/h in Road Atlanta...
After I beat the Game, I will start to make Works vs Not Works, because I have a feeling Works is slower...
About the Z06, just saw a screenshot of Nurburgring 20.8 km in 6m 18s with a Z06 without Works package.
Cya!

I read somewhere that running in "normal" mode instead of "pro" mode may be increasing grip. Another player's video. Time wasn't shown, but I downloaded the MP4 and measured it at 6:29.7 based on real time, assuming game clock is the same as real time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIIbJ92ax4E&fmt=22
