Hey guys! Nice board you have here, I used to lurk for years and today I finally registered xD Well I guess I was already registered but somehow I lost my login. Anyway it's been a long time since I played NFS competitively, you know when they removed the game from WCG list I didn't have many reasons to keep playing, I still remember nice times @ USSR Cup, I had so much fun... But strict to the point, I recently started playing this game (just for fun you know) and I kinda like him. I have some questions related btw, for example what are the best cars foreach tier? And, most important, can I sell my car after I buy a new one? Ty

They have rankings of the cars posted at World-Garage. Here's the link: world-garage.com/index.php/topic/4041-ranking-of-all-cars-with-pictures/...and yes, you can sell the cars you do not use anymore. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be happy to answer them. I really love this game and I'm glad to see some other people enjoying it too. Jussi

Actually I do have one more question, I've just won an aftermarket part, if I use this part on my car will I be able to unmount it and use on another car later? Thanks meanwhile

One more question How the hell I am supposed to race with my friends? I mean matchmaking, not private match. Is that even possible? I mean if I create a group can I join a multiplayer match with the group?

I mean if I create a group can I join a multiplayer match with the group? You'll need to do a private match for every race. NFS World doesn't have the the concept of a "room" where a group of players can continue to do a series of races. Note you can invite any player to a private match by right clicking on their persona, then "invite ...", no matter where it appears on the screen, even if it's the name above a player's car in front of you, in the list of people in a group, or from your friends list. The match making doesn't work very well.

I found a way to play MM with my friend, we just join the same race and hope to find each other, works half of the times. Lucky we're at same level.

Hey raz3r, nice to see you on here. I am afraid the best cars for each tier are now cars that can only be bought with real money. There are some leaderboards for the game on NFS Unlimited: www.nfsunlimited.net/world/leaderboardsBut you will probably not have a chance to do any records until level 40 or something because you first need to upgrade the driver skills that improve top speed, handling and acceleration permanently. Make sure that you don't waste any skill points like I did by getting things that give you more reputation per race. These things will only help you until you reach the final level and then they will be useless. You should first get all the things that really make your car better.

Nice to see you too m8! I know what you're talking about, in fact I've been saving all of my skill points for later levels. Anyway I guess I'll stick with the Louts Elise, as soon as I have the money ofcourse xD Btw what's your nickname on NFSWorld? Paragleiber I guess? I'd like to race with someone with a brain instead of those stupid idiots online -.- Ah, one more question, I won some performance parts that have an orange/brown color, are they better or not? I mean right now I have normal Tyres with 0-0-4 but in my inventory I have Tyres with the same performance (0-0-4) but with an orange/brown color. Shall I install them?

I don't really know the tuning all that well myself. I am just around level 30 so far because I don't play the game that actively. I also saved for the Lotus Elise. I guess it is a good choice for tier 2 if you don't want to use boost. But regarding the idiots online: When I was new to the game I also got pissed when these idiots were beating me all the time even though I knew that I was the better player. Unfortunately it is just not possible to avoid that in this game, so you should try to get used to it somehow. The super easy handling makes it that even the biggest noob can control the cars well in this game and the traffic and powerups cause a lot of randomness, so that the worse player will win quite often. In addition to that you are also facing better cars a lot recently because many people are paying real money for them, which I don't really want to do right now. When you play public in World you can really just do it for fun and you shouldn't set yourself the goal to win every race like you probably could in MW or Carbon with your skill. I also have a winrate far below 50% but after a while I just accepted it because I understood that it doesn't mean anything. This game is just not made for serious competition. You can't win every race, no matter how good you are. And yeah, feel free to add me with my usual name. However, I am mostly just doing the diamond hunt every day, so that I will reach level 50 eventually. It really takes a shitload of time.

I totally agree with you, in fact I'm just trying to have fun While doing that I'd like to make my opponent's life hard though Anyway any tip in order to level up fast and/or gather enough money for the Elise? I've been playing a lot but I only reached 100.000$ so far and level 14 :S

Nope, unfortunately I am having the same problem. There is just no way to level up really fast anymore. I already have the game since the day it came out, which is like 1 1/2 years ago, so my level is a fucking joke, lol.
I actually got the starter pack for 20 euros or something when the game was new, so I could play a few weeks earlier, got a free car, some loaner car tickets and some speed boost (I saved the tickets and boost until now).
You could level up really really fast in the first few weeks because you got a ton of rep for everything. rcgldr who posted here reached level 50 in just one week or something by playing the whole day. I really regret now that I didn't take advantage of it back then but I just didn't know that it would change so dramatically and that it would now take forever to reach level 50. :s
I guess you can forget about the single player races. I personally think the pursuits are also not worth it nowadays. You should get the diamonds every day and otherwise do team escapes or maybe multiplayer races on tracks that are short and unlocked at a rather high level (a 4 minute track gives the same rep as a 2 minute track, just higher unlocking level gives a bit more).

I usually play the treasure hunt and team escape in fact. Problem is I like to "race" not to "escape", there is enough madness in normal races xD Anyway I only have a Tier 1 car so all Tier 2 events are locked for me and that means that I've been playing the same track for a week or more. There are some events where there is no Tier lock but it's quite hard to win those races since you can find people with a Tier 3 car that owns my poor Silvia @_@

I know what you mean man. I also used that slow Silvia until level 25 or whenever you finally unlock that Elise. :x
Of course there are other tier 2 cars that you can get earlier but I also thought they wouldn't be worth the money when you can get something better for it later on and you can't afford to buy everything.

Doing All In team escape is probably the fastest way to earn in game cash, if you're at a high enough level that most players you meet up wtih manage to complete the event. (around level 20 from what I hear).
If you can do 5 minute or so pursuits somewhat consistently without getting busted or consuming a lot of powerups, that gives the most rep, but less cash than a team escape where all 4 players complete the event. Starting at Rosewood, uturning at the start to head towards the wide part of Hwy 99 is probably the easiest pursuit option. When going through tunnels, spike strips are usually on the left side. There's a cool down spot in a alley near the middle and south most part of Hwy 99 that you've probably seen doing treasure hunts, although cops sometimes show up there. Another option is trying to reach the stadium to evade. If you're going to get busted, you might consider aborting the game (or disconnecting from internet) rather than having to start from heat level 1 on the next pursuit.
Grinding for rep with pursuits gets boring. In general the excessive amount of grinding for cash, rep, parts, no matter how you do it, gets pretty boring with NFS World. I've had a few friends try NFS World and quit before reaching level 20, and level 35 or so is only 1/2 way to level 50 based on time spent.
Single player races pay the least rep. Multi-player races depend on where you finish and don't pay much more. Multiplayer races on tier restricted tracks pay a bit more rep and cash, so main street is popular.
Treasure hunts are the best in terms of rep won versus time spent, but you only get one per day.
