... Need For Speed Underground 2! Maybe we could start something in that too?

It'll be great to start up some PBRCs for Underground 2 once more, or even continue with the drift series we held a very long time ago. In my opinion, Underground 2 is the best NFS game ever created, and I'd love to see people regaining interest in it once more.

Count me in. But as I've said before. We all know that Carbon was the best.

There are still some players playing U2 online using in game LAN play and Hamachi VPN to extend a virtual LAN to other players over the network. If you're in a European time zone, there's a Hamachi network based in Turkey named "turnuva26", password "123", however last time I tried, it was "full", so we might be better off creating our own Hamachi virtual network, which just registers a network name and password on the actual Hamachi servers. You'll need to download and install the free version of Hamachi: secure.logmein.com/US/products/hamachi2/download.aspxTo disable the old reference to EA's now shut down online server, delete the last line (ADDR=%%bind("159.153.253.82") in: \Program Files\EA Games\Need for Speed Underground 2\server.cfg or comment it out with a # in front of it. You can also download and extract this zip which contains the update server.cfg and the original as serverorg.cfg: rcgldr.net/nfs8/n8srvcfg.zipThen go to control panel, network connections, click on the advanced tab on top, then advance settings in the drop down menu, then move hamachi adapter to the top of the list. I made a video showing this part: rcgldr.net/nfs8/hamachipriority.wmvThere are 3 layers involved here. Hamachi network, the U2 LAN server, and an actual race. A Hamachi network uses something similar to peer to peer protocol. The hamachi servers are only used when you "join" a Hamachi network. After that, the virtual network, and any lag issues only exist between the people that joined that network. Once the network is running you start the game. If you have hyperthreading and/or a multi-core cpu, then shell out, and use task manager to set the affinity for speed2.exe to one cpu, then return to the game (else it will crash). Within the game, go into LAN mode and create a server (if one doesn't alread exist). Then you and other players can join the in game LAN server. Once in the game's LAN server, players can create races. Once the race starts, the in game's LAN server is no longer used, and the host can keep running races even if the server is gone until the host exits back to the in game server.

Most Wanted will always be the best im afraid Offcourse Most Wanted is the best! It will allways be the best Need For Speed. To me, and obviously to you. Most Wanted just hooked me back then when I tried demo version of it. And when I got full version in christmas 2005, I immediatelly installed it to our comp and boy, oh boy it was something I never had felt before! That game just makes me feel... eh bad?! Just give me my Gallardo and i beat anybody with it. Yep, not anymore ALL SUPRA!!! Hehee, I have found something wayyy better than that.
