I saw your profil Tim - looks really good.
And now something completly different... does anyone have a similar problem when racing the Corvette Z06 in career races? It will not move at all. When I put in 1st it just jumps back into neutral and does`nt move.

That happened to me last night. I just assumed it was yet another glitch and moved on. There is too much fun to be had with the things that work well in this game to worry about the things that don't. I'm guessing, also, that if EA had waited till everything was perfect then the game would never have been released. I did like getting $243,000 for a car which stuffed my game up though. Something very karmic about that.

Hi guys! Mind you that if you have Auto Clutch Off, that might explain why when you crash or something and the car stops and goes neutral, you cant return to 1st gear normally... Cya! Rogério

Did you guys try SneakyGunman's trick yet? I think it may have made my handling a wee bit better. Jussi

Well, for reasons i have to uninstall Shift in order to re-install and the uninstalling process is going on now for over an hour and it's still "collecting required data" !!
The way it goes right now, this game'll NEVER uninstall the 'easy way'...
Anyone else already uninstalled Shift?

does anyone have a similar problem when racing the Corvette Z06 in career races? This happens when you use advance tuning on any car. The workaround is to buy a cheap car, switch to quick tuning on that cheap car, and make some small adjustment. This will fix the issue with the muscle cars. The "works" Z06 isn't affected by this. After you're done with the race, go back to that cheap car, reset to default, then switch to advance tuning and make some change. This will restore advance tuning to all cars in your garage. Also you may have to restart career races before you tuning takes place.

I have the Camaro SS and Corvette, both with works package and i havent had any problem with them not moving. In career or online. The Viper wouldnt move in the Viper vs Ford GT race, but the Ford GT worked just fine.
Has anyone else noticed the cars handling different online than in career mode? The Vette had no rear traction online, but handles great in career. Turning traction control on low helped a little. The Camaro didnt want to turn while online, but turns just fine in career. Aaron

I just think we both suck at driving - hehe.
I have the same problem with the online mode. If I use My Cars the handling is completly different from career.

I read somewhere a guys saying the setups Online would go into Stock... May this be the problem? Or you are using a Default Setup Z06 and when you go Online that Default Setup changes? :S

I asked earlier if someone would confirm the " resetting to default" - no reply. I think perhaps this game is not for me.

Hi!
In Germany there are several competitions going on and recently there was an Online Qualifier with Z06 Tier 3 Online, and those guys seemed to have raced ok, as far as I know...
Anyway, I also asked if that only happens with Advanced Setups or doesnt happen with Basic Setups, or happens with both... Maybe we will have to use Basic Setups until a Patch is out? :S Still didnt got feedback on that...

Turning off manual clutch did the trick for the Vette. It handles almost the same as in career for me now. Im not sure Shift reverts back to default settings while online. My Vette does not have that much oversteer with default setup in career as it does online. The handling online is just weird. Camaro SS with default setting in career has oversteer, online it has way to much understeer. Online, it handles better with traction off and autoclutch on. I do have advanced tuning on both cars. Why couldnt they just make the cars handle the same(between online and career), it sure would be less confusing and time consuming. These are the only cars i have so far, other than MX-5. PS. It would be nice to be able to chat online too. Im really not liking online mode at this moment. Aaron
