This is probably a stupid question but since i thought ill try and compete in some competitions ill ask.
I havent explored my new PS3 too extensively and i want to just know if it has a screenshot mode or program or whatever in it ? i know the Wii does but was wondering if the PS3 does too.
Cheers

I don't think it has, correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't actually own a PS3. However, I'm pretty much sure there's something you can buy/download that will allow you to take screenshots, in the same sense you can buy/download an application and be able to record videos.

HHmmm, probably is a downloadable one but ive got a very difficult way of getting screen shots and video's that im going to try ill look for this program first but as an alternative i will hook my ps3 up to our DVD player, which is a recorder aswell, i can record whateveri want onto a disc then put it onto computer, then if i want a screenshot i can take a screenshot of the computer screen and crop out all of the computer mumbo jumbo, Hopefully thatl work, my stupid computer is playin up and wont let me stay logged on

Wow, that's one heck of a way of taking a screenshot. I'll look around myself, and see if I find a simpler way.

Yer it sure is one heck of a way to get a screenshot, but buying a program is not an option, so its either this or take a photo of the screen with a camera, But then it takes away the quality doing that, and i want to enter tuning comps ect. which without quality its useless. I had a dig around on the internet for how to take screenshots and apparently you can do it with updates after update 2.5 which houldnt be any problem as im running version 3.0 or 3.1 its one of those two. The only other way is to purchase a program. Thanks for your help Frederik
