Hi Jussi, Quick-Race-Mode. every Race there gives me 40000$ and Points for profile. even if i drive alone and just one lap. I use Quick Race mostly to become "master of corners", i hope this is the right word for it. Tim

Hey Khekz
Awesome video and you sure are going much faster than what I am able to do at the moment. It looks to me you found some good settings. Would you share your settings in adjust controls and Logitech profiler? I am still having a hard time keeping my cars on track. I tried adjusting with tuning but with not much success.
Maybe you could test a Porsche Cayman S on time trial Dakota GP with those settings you are using? I am able to do low 47 sec with all upgrades. It says this cars has Works but it does not show as an available upgrade? Am I missing something here?
Testing cars is easy now since you get all your money back when selling again - including the ones you spent on upgrades - good feature I think.
Maybe someone on keyboard could test it as well? Just to get an idea what lap times you get when using keyboard.
P.S
I will not be home until Monday afternoon again - going to the capitol.

PS I am also going home for Eid, would be comin bak in a week or so.

Hi Poul!
I think the video from Khekz is intended to show what he could do by turning Stability and ABS on... Did you try that? Anyway, in what Logitech concerns, I believe you will not use Specific Settings or even start the Game from Profiler like you were custom to... In this Game you probably have Profiler with On everything Default (in reality you probably just need Profiler to have FF Effects...), but you start the Game outside Profiler and use the In-Game Settings to set the Wheel.
I can tell you that with Keyboard using a Murciélago Stock (which will be the car for this Weekend LAN) with Low TC and Stability I am on the 1m 27s in Laguna Seca.
Another thing... I am not sure Cayman S has Works Package, I will check it out later... I know GT2 and GT3 dont have. If a car has Works Package it will have a "W" on the Icon with the Car name, close to where is the NOS and Drift Symbols. To get the Works, you need to buy everything available to the Car, from Performance to Aero to Race Upgrades. When you have everything, then a Question will appear proposing you to buy the Works Upgrade.
Cya!

Rogerio How are you able to earn that much money? I am getting 15.000 for each win. To earn that amount of money you have, I need to race like 100 races and win them all if you have used money to buy upgrades aswell. Poul Sorry mate to just answer now... Money is really not an issue here! :S Even removing the few Quick Races I did so far, with 350 Starts won I would have close to 5 Million! :S I just have a car in my Garage, a Works Subaru. The Money Prizes increase greatly from Race to Race, also when you go up a Level. Cya! Rogério

Ths Khekz and Rogerio
I did try everything I know to get the car running as fast as I can. Also with ABS on and track control set to high. I think perhaps i just suck in this game at this stage of expereince. I even tried using keyboard without G25 attached - the car spins out immediately as soon as I hit the gas. That should not happen since this game is keyboard supported. makes me wonder if something else is wrong.
I will test again when I get back Monday - happy racing all.
Poul

Hi Khekz! When you are buying a Car, the Plaque with the Car Brand and Name have symbols: a W means that car has Works Package available; a Bottle of NOS means it supports Nitro; and a slide means it qualifies for Drift. If you get a Car with the W, and you buy each and everyone of the upgrades available, you will get on the bottom right of your screen an option to buy the Works Package, which coasts 150k for Tier 1 and 250k for Tier 2. Tier 3 stil didnt saw... What is a Works Package? Since I dont have time to make Screenies, I invite you to read this: speedhunters.com/archive/2009/09/11/need-for-speed-shift-gt-gt-the-little-corolla-that-could.aspxCya my friend! Rogério

Hi Jussi! You win 40k after reaching a certain level, probably after gaining access to Tier 5... TCRLuca, could you explain your settings for the G25 in Profiler and In-Game? Thanks. On a side note, your Level 3 Car has NOS where the Works version doesnt have... I dont know exactly how much that might afect the outcome, but it is important to say it! So in order to compare your times to the ones being refered by Poul, you have to Race without NOS. To Poul: a Friend sent me this link... See if it helps: forums.xbox.com/29123795/ShowPost.aspx ! This is intended for XBox and Gamepad, still the second part may be interesting... Cya! Rogério
