It's been days now... is it necessary to post a video or not for the competition, jsskppnn? I thought you said it would not be a problem for you to record a video of an improved time? Poul

It's been days now... is it necessary to post a video or not for the competition, jsskppnn? Rules say... + Abnormally fast entries must be verified with a video. + Prize winners need to provide video proof of their capability of achieving winning times. + All hot group racers need to prepair to provide video proof of their capability of achieving top times. This is a picture based competition, but if your time is questioned, you need to provide a video proof of your capability of reaching such times. Jussi

I am not questioning his time Jussi - as I wrote earlier; would be nice to see how others drive and to compare my cars performance at my current level against the performance of the same car used at a much higher level.

I knew why you wanted to see his video, you said so when you asked for it. I just told him what the rules say. I too think it would be interesting to see how big a difference these skills really make. Have you got a video for us, Besix? Jussi PS. Someone should tell Brian to collect his prize from last weeks race, I'm this close (holding my thumb and index finger about 1 mm apart) of revoking the prize.

What do you mean with "eventhough you did not win"? I know the competition isn't over yet, but such a sentence is just confusing.
EDIT: nvm, I get what you mean now. Well, the plan was to get 2 people in T2 cars in front of me so my catch up skill got activated, but one of my members couldn't get past me pff...

It's good that you didn't, because that could have been considered as "shenanigans" which is forbidden in the rules. The private race is only allowed for avoiding the magnets, not for using your friends as bulldozers or for hanging behind them with a rubberband. Jussi

Jussi I agree, which is why i feel these competitions should be played in single player mode, where the winner will be decided by skill, not luck. Edit, scratch that, single player is no different because of luck with magnets. Sorry, havent had enough coffee yet I still think single player is best for these comps.

Jussi As long as you know that first time of 2.11.87 was with me in the 1st position all the way in a 2 player multiplayer. Just to record this video I wasn't as patient.

Even though no one even questioned your time, you have clearly shown us that you can easily produce such times. Poul only wanted to see what sort of difference higher level brings to car's performance. I like to keep our competitions picture based, because then they are easier for everyone to enter, the video part of the rules were only added after someone showed me what sorts of unfair stunts people can pull to make faster times. Glad to have you with us and I hope you keep on entering the races in the future too (and also with other games as they arrive). Jussi
