Good question Jussi...
It is either that one, or the 350Z. The Elise requires you to be able to avoid any traffic and obstacles in the way. Just hitting a water barrel will kill your speed and it takes a long time to build up again, since the gear ratio on the Elise is a pain - hope it gets better when upgraded though. The 350z is a heavy car, and it will not slow down easy - good choice for a keyboard player perhaps? But why not just rental each car and see which one you like the most when fully upgraded?

But why not just rental each car and see which one you like the most when fully upgraded? I would gladly use real money for permanent cars, but rentals... I'm too much of a scrooge for that. Jussi

By the way, I'm starting to think that Evo would be the right level 15 car for me. I was driving my 350Z yesterday and even though it's only stock, I still managed to spin it around quite a few times. Powerful RWD cars have always been a bit hard for me to control. Evo should stay in direction a bit easier with all it's wheels pulling. Jussi PS. Too bad I can't buy cars with real money. I get this month's salary tomorrow and there's still plenty of left from the last month.

Does anyone know if someone tested the tier 2 and 3 cars fully upgraded and how they rank? I have spent a lot of money to test some cars in tier 2 - but I am running short of in game cash. I guess I could rent the damn cars and then test it myself.

Based on nfs-s stats leaderboards, BMW is fastest overall, followed by Z06, then Audi R8. On some tracks where cornering is a main factor, the Lotus Elise is second fastest (faster than Z06 or R8).
The BMW has the best cornering, but you need to use a lot of nitrous with it. The Z06 doesn't need much nitrous, but it has low grip, and will roll over or spin out if you slide or hit a wall hard. You need to really know the track with the Z06. The Audi R8 is just slower than the other two cars, and the rest of the tier 3 cars are slower still.
The Elise is the fastest tier 2 car, but being light, traffic and ramming affect it more.
For multiplayer, traffic and ramming often affects the outcome of races more than player skill or car performance though.
