...therefore it will take the series 10 years back... ...which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Trust me, you won't be paying attention to your paintjob when getting chased and having your overpowered jet-on-wheels smashed by a pursuit Lamborghini.

I'm sure it will be an excellent online racing game. The best online racing games for me are those that do not have any performance tuning options, because in those ones I'm on the same line with more advanced players. However, not being able to customize your car takes away the role playing element, which has been really important for me in NFS series. When I think of this, I should probably call this game Hot Pursuit instead of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Then I can categorize it with GRID which is one of the best online racing games ever. Jussi

It's a Need For Speed (unless Criterion screws up), call it that. There will be enough role playing. You be the dude in the Zonda, and I be the cop in the Lambo calling the chopper trying to smash your ass!

Looks good but im a bit depressed about no customisation by the looks of it, even though the most i really do is widen the rear bags on muscle cars as wide as they will go, I will be upset too if oldschool mopars are missing from the game, Otherwise i think it looks good. Cheers Jono
