Hey all Maybe some of you wants to see an awesome benchmark I saw a guy called lsdmeasap linked at Gigabytes support site. It really is a surprising great looking little benchmark that also has an incredible catchy tune in it. I actually ran it 3 times (lasts 3-4 min) just to see how great it looks and to hear that tune. I downloaded it to compare to lsdmeasap´s test of a Gigabyte 5870 SOC Super Overclock Edition GV-R587SO-1GD A - long name - one would think they could call it something easier to remember - to my own GTX 285. My card sucks compared to these new super overclocked cards, but it is good enough for Shift I ran the benchmark in 1680x1050 and this is what I got. dee.cz/lightsmark/The file is only 24 MB so it´s quick to download if anyone wants to see how fast a card he/she has. Just remember that that Gigabyte Super Overclocked card had a score of 1072.2 which is a GREAT score compared to mine- so is it´s price at 499$ at newegg. Poul

Hey
Let me start looking around sometime when I get back from work Sunny.
I see that Spiko got himself a nice new i7 860 - that one should be able to do some serious overclocking, congratulations on that one Spiko and did you see much difference with that one compared to your old one? Is it a brand new PC or did you just replace motherboard and CPU?

No overclocking (I don't even know how,,lol). Much better than my prior PC. I don't know Sunny about the XP on i7. For the MS office I don't think will be a problem either way. Spiko

However, I was able to upgrade my motherboard and CPU without having to reinstall the entire Operating System as far as I remember.
