Spent some time with my Miata today. Exterior detail, debadge, and a little painting. Wasn't really expecting much from the detail being white, but once I got started I was very surprised how much of a difference it made! I thought it was a slightly "off white", but nope!. Pretty much every major scratch the I had noticed came out or was massively minimized, too, which is nice. M105 on LCC yellow M205 on LCC white Collinite 945 above body line Meguiars cleaner wax below body line and in door jams On to the pics... Before: 50/50, bottom done Changed color! After: More here: My 1996 Mazda Miata - brianleedyphoto's Photos

She's purrrty. Never thought I'd see in something other than a Saab tho. Still, looks like a lot of fun to drive.

Well, I did nearly "s.h.i.t bricks" when he annonced his new winter beater, which happens to be 4x4 Subaru. And he finally did make me "s.h.i.t bricks" when he announced that he is going to sell his Saab and buying new car, which wasn't Saab. It was quite big surprise for whole community tho...

With VT's mild fall, I've been itchin' to put my AWD to use. Can't complain since that let me put over 2k miles on my Miata, but still. 3x bottoming out on small things = needz moar ground clearance.

So. A few things have happened. Nothing major, but some Miata parts.. New cover (as you can see in the pic above the one that was too big for the 9000 is a "bit" big for the Miata: Raceland header: Wheels: Unfortunately the Subaru is dead. Can't believe how fast that car went from "good" to "this thing is going to maim/kill someone". So, to replace it, I bought something a little more "me". Bought it today, gets towed home tomorrow to replace the blown turbo. $440

Yup, glad we can resume some normalcy. Not my favorite color but I don't mind it either. Light green 9-5 and a white Miata.... not the MOST masculine pair of vehicles around
