2.3T 5spd 225k Good shape, few little things to look into but I'm happy. Things the Aero has over a regular 9000.... -Bigger Mitsu TD04 turbo, retuned ECU (225hp, 252ft-lb) -Lower, stiffer suspension -Specific 16" wheels -Recaro leather interior, including leather door panels -Harmann Kardon stereo (I may have spelled that right ) -Different side skirts and slightly changed front lip spoiler, all the bodywork is color matched -Plus all the options available to the other models. So yeah, that's where I'm at now.

Another saab? You know when you eventually get another car other than a saab, you're going to throw us all for a major loop.

I've come close to buying a couple non-Saabs recently... I don't know what i'd do The red probably wouldn't be my first choice. I love the color but it really gets attention... both good and bad... I think I've been stared down by every cop I've driven by so far. I also ended up behind my 9-3 driving around today. I lol'd.

I had a customer in the carwash today with an old yet good looking 900 Turbo; He had a readout or whatever it's called of a cool 275 BHP !! He claimed they tested in on the German autobahn last week with a friend which speedometer pointed out 260 KM/H and still had power left .. He guessed it might run right towards somewhere around 300 KM/H ... It's imported from the States, he said ... Bandit

Hard to believe that a Saab 900 Turbo would be able to do 300 km/h with that low hp. Just think of the aerodynamics on that car and what it would take of hp to get from let´s say 240 km/h to 300 km/h.

That Saab 900 Turbo wouldn't do 300 kph off a cliff. maybe if you were on a big steap hill 12 kilometers long he might be able to do 260 kph by the time he reaches the bottom.....

Stateside 900's don't have the gears to get anywhere near 186mph (300km) but you can get the "type 8" primary gears over there (if you can find them) that extend things... Paul, what's that bolt pattern? 4x108 perhaps?

That's exactly what the man said was in the gearbox or something; He went all the way to Stuttgart in Germany to get it and said he paid 600 euro's for it and already had an unseen offer for 1200 LOL @ the 300 down a cliff by the way Bandit

So thus far I've changed my transmission fluid (it's got a whine in 1st-3rd and a weak 3rd gear syncro). Fluid looked great and with nothing noteworthy on the magnetic drain plug. We'll see how long it goes I guess Quieted down the cabin fan sensor. Started the "making shiny" progress. Claybarred and hand polished half the hood to see what kind of results I'm in for. Waiting on the rest of my goodies to arrive before I do the whole thing.

Yes. But trust me, going from my 9-3 to this was an absolute no-brainer. It's just that much better. Minor correction: I used all that to clean the outside of a car Still need to do everything else... Mad? Maybe. But damn it looks so much better
