NFS Shift compare to NFS Undercover is 10 times better of a racing game than what we had last year. Each year it keeps on getting better for the most part. So if you that into respective then it’s not so bad after all, and if EA made the perfect racing game or at least had a game with limited number of bugs…. Then no one would ever have the need for something better and then EA would lose money on us.
In short it’s like they are keeping us hook for another year. I just hope that World Online is not 2010 NFS racing game. Or unless we have to use WO as a portal to get to the newest game. I’m not much into street racing its ok sometime but I prefer tracks races better

Not known as a bad ,rude, aggressive person/driver- but unusually fast. I think you know, what I mean;) A small self quotation. At Silverstone there is a cut possible.Read my post before the quotation also;) I tried it one time, nvmd ::)But I'm not proud of it. To the Raven discussion, yeah, it's dawn fast, but I really wonder why a 'aTTaX' driver or a 'SK' Driver should do that.HuskY did also this unbelievable 1:12.002 at London. Also Dreaf with 2:12 at Spa with the M3GT2.On the Nordschleife, I have still no doubt, that a 5:4x:xxx is possible. If those times were cheated, I wouldnt only accuse raven to cheat. Maybe all clanprofessionels are? And, I wonder why a slight cheat wouldnt be detected then? Btw, I send you something via PN Marco, please check it.

The Silverstone cut in the first sector, i know him since raven did the best time on wr (yes im searched how he could make a such fast first sector)...After the long right/left the right can be cutted on gras to commercial... Actually its not such a problem...i guess the game has rules, if the game doesnt give you penalty, its not wrong...so as i was a long time angred about the wallriding, its a NFS Racer, so i accept it now and do the same, even i find it poor Raven, read my post again, i said: maybe he cheat with modification, maybe not, but the fact that he tried to make a new account on the competition 2 days after the annoucement of the prices to get a place in the finals (he just searched for a noob and beat him to have enough points), thats cheating too! Thats unfair and not only trainers or xls mods are cheating, thats what i think... In my TC race against him, he was sooooo proud to beat me on Silverstone, talking like he gave me a lesson and after my win on the NS he seemed completly surprised that i could even win...Hmmm...and when i asked him to make a 1:07:2xx like he did easily on Silverstone Intern. on wrecord, he needed a day and just put a bugged 1:08...So im WONDERING...wouldnt you? @monster sureley Shift is better than undercover, i tried uc one time and i was lmfao about the driving physics but i dont have WO, i guess its a Arcade racer, isnt it? I mean 400km/h speeds and cornering full throttle like in the Pro Street Vids, no? I will check out WO, maybe ill play just for fun...lets see... Greetz Marco

The people who exploit the bugs is what ruins things for me.

About which Silverstone were you talking?Inter or National or GP? In GP, I'm always 0.2s behind him- his accel is unbelievable compared to mine, although my line is identical and the cornerspeeds are sometimes higher!

Silverstone GP, the first corner can be taken outside to not loose so much speed, the cut possibility is after the fast right/left into 3rd geared right corner, there u just go straigh through grass, over the tarmac and back to the road where the Commercial is, just before 1rst sector timing...It doesnt work everytime, you have to find out the right way to not get penalty. With this you get 0:200 easily in first sector Greetz Marco PS: PN später, ich geh jetzt erstmal eine GSX1300 heizen

Hi Marco We are beta-4 testing WO right now this weekend, EA trying to bring back NFS MW & NFS Carbon Copy, with police chase and street racing. Plus moderate to heavy traffic conditions. UGH not an ideal combination.. Something different I guess Just hit the apply button and it will test your PC and then prompt you for a download.. world.needforspeed.com/@monster surely Shift is better than undercover, i tried uc one time and i was lmfao about the driving physics but i dont have WO, i guess its a Arcade racer, isnt it? I mean 400km/h speeds and cornering full throttle like in the Pro Street Vids, no? I will check out WO, maybe ill play just for fun...lets see... Greetz Marco

Surely Shift is better than undercover Just different. Undercover's cars are way beyond reality in terms of power and grip, plus there's magical nitrous that adds downforce for extreme conering speeds. Unlike Shift, there doesn't seem to be a system sensitivity issue giving players an unfair advantage, unless your system is slow enough to cause the game to pause with bluish screen glitches. Yes, but less extreme than Undercover. Currently the cars have about the same amount of grip as Most Wanted's cars, but with less power and top speed. The cars are mostly neutral, no understeer or oversteer, to make it playable with keyboard.

Question:
Sorry if this has already been answered but....
Can wrecord.com detect if someone has a modified physics.xml file?
Thanks for your feedback,
MB.

I'm Cravczec on NFS Shift. I really try to race in a fair way and I really love the technical aspects of tunning cars and getting faster(such as they are) I would really like to do some long technical, what I call "no touch" racing. Which means when you are behind someone else and I mean the nose of your car is one inch behind the nose of the other car you take care to avoid contact by actually USING your BRAKES. This also means not driving out of control and pinballing down the track off the walls and everybody else. In fact I wish EA would put in a NO Touch mode that automatically DQs anyone who knocks anyone else completely off the track. I know that being a complete horses ass is part of the game but we should be able to segregate the two camps i.e. the "First turn idiot pile types" and those who actually enjoy racing.
I guess under the heading of Fairness in racing my question would be is there any sort of racing league that one can join where we can get together to the exclusion of the cheaters and pinball wizards?
