Ricardo why not just restore Windows to an earlier point? Like to that time when you think you installed the program causing this.

Poul I tried that option, but there aren't that many 'points' I can return to, strangely enough. Somehow it doesn't want to make those things. Therefore that option doesn't work for me. But thanks for thinking along with me.

Well waddayaknow, didn't change a single thing and suddenly the game works like a charm. Here's my achievement after about 25 minutes of racing: 3:06.990 - RicardoElfrinko - Porsche 911 GT2 - 15.60 (aarog5606)

That's the problem, I can't find a way to make a restore point on my own. It only makes a point when I'm installing a program.
And I don't really believe in a Back-up, cause there will be too many files missing.

In Windows 7 in Control Panel under System and Security there is the option of doing a backup of my computer.

Ricardo, can you use your virus protection software to make a restore point? I use McAfee and i can make a restore point with it or Spybot Search and Destroy software, if you happen to use it.

I'm using Norton 360 and in that I can't make a restore point. I'm not that much troubled about not having a restore point though, if it all goes really wrong I just reinstall everything. Takes up a bit of time, but then it's all nice and clean again. It could be that Shift was working again because I've restarted my computer... sometimes that also works for some problems. Had the computer on for almost 2 weeks till that point. Trying to download a tv-series that isn't that much available, and it still isn't completely downloaded yet. (Got stuck at 99.3 % )

I missed this one too. I had a time of 2.57 which I did early last night, but then I wanted to see a movie in TV and thought I could try to improve after the movie had finished. Sadly I fell a sleep on the couch and missed the deadline completely - and the movie Not many participated in this one. I wonder if they had same problems as me, with the car spinning out as soon as one hits the brakes and starts accelerating. I was able to match Aaron´s lap times, but just needed it on both laps which I did not get around to. I tested this and using that Porsche GT2 is much easier to control if you have all sensitivity set for 50% and it even feels faster. I wonder if that is also the case with other cars too. Congratulations to Aaron and a nice setup on the GT2 he did. Poul

Thanks Poul!
This race was for fun anyways. I was curious to see if everyone would like a single manufaturer race and to see what the best Porsche was maybe. I guess it was a bad idea...

I like the idea - especially with Porsche because it is so difficult to drive in Shift. I also like the stock car thingy, so please come up with some more stuff out of the ordinary please. Poul
