I Recently went to paintball for the second time ever. Since my first time was crap and i was unwell i didnt like it but this time was different and now im hooked After three hours i wasnt in as bad of shape as my mates but i had the worst hit from a mate. He was on my team walking behind me, And apparently slipped and shot me in the leg at half a meter away and accidently shot me in the back of the leg. He walked on and i called his name and he turned and i shot him in the shin Heres the damage ^This was from my mate shooting me^ This one was from the last free for all round, I ended up last man standing. Some how making someone surrender eventhough they were free to shoot me. Anyone else on here enjoy paintball?

Yer im hooked, it might take me a while but im eventually going to buy a gun, nothing special just a half decent paintball gun. Ive got a mate who is going to do it with me aswell. Where i was they supplied guns and armour with the deal aswell as 200 paintballs anything else cost extra though. I Also poped the yuki red thing on my leg XD Cheers

Try to buy a middle end reliable marker, depends on your budget. The Eteks from Planet eclipse and the Proto's are good markers. Most importantly get yourself some good protective gear(Mask, chest protector, elbow protectors, gloves, sliding pants, knee protectors) and some goood shoes!!! These will protect you from injuries most of the time and keep the bruises to a minimum. Have fun

I had a quick search on the internet search and this is what i came up with. Piranha GTI Plus Field www.paintballaustralia.com.au/gti_plus_field.htmCompleter kit - Stadard Kit Plus www.paintballaustralia.com.au/Completer_Kits.htmProtector vest www.paintballaustralia.com.au/body_armour.htmThis will be what i will be getting eventually as it fits my budget. I know this is probably not the best gear but it will serve my purpose while im learning to look after the gear ect. Purpose paintball clothing is a bit expensive for me and it probably wouldnt last long out here. Out here we play in bushland so some Camo overalls oughta do me for a while. Its quite hard to aquire a paintball gun over here in Aus as you need a firearms license and when you buy one you need to get a license to aquire which is pretty much a license saying you can get that certain gun Cheers

Nice guns. I also shoot Eclipse. I've got: XSV Ego9, purchased from Thomas Taylor XSV Geo, purchased from Junior Brown 2 XSV SL66's and a custom MQ'd Karnivore pump As you might have guessed, I'm a bit of an XSV fan. Jono, I'd recomend invensting in a quality mask to start with. Having a comfortable mask that won't fog is the most important thing to have IMO. Also, a chest protector isn't needed, just wear heavier clothes if you are worried about getting hit. What is your budget on a gun and all the equipment? Having bought a pretty cheap gun when I started, I wished I hadn't, and within a couple months had bought another more expensive gun, and then continued to buy better guns once I sarted playing tournament and such. If you are just playing in the brush/woods though, I'd recomend a Tippman/BT. They are tough and reliable guns that will last forever.

My friends used to be hooked to paintballing, buying paintball guns for nearly $1,000, selling and trading. I havn't heard them talk about it lately, so I'm guessing they've pretty much left it alone now.

Nice, one more fellow p8ntballer I'm more into Stockholm Joy(I live in europe) Like you said a good mask is very important I have the i4, V-force grill and a Empire E-vent. The grill is a bit better IMO. I use a chest protector cause I do'n't like the bruises to show at work.
