Old news read about this last month in a magazine , the caprice in the new e-platform is a fairly big car , bigger than the standard sedan. The extra room in the back allows for the installation of a protective cage without intruding on driver/passenger comfort. Lapd colours Aussie version in the background

What's that Pontiac emblem doing there ... Geez Bandit , where you been hiding for the last three years GMH spent a billion dollars developing the E platform and GM went bananas with the potential they saw in it. So far its been used under the Camaro , the VE Comodore Range in Australia and a few prototypes/concept vehicles. GM liked it so much they got GMH to redesign the front and rename it as a G8 Pontiac GTO. Unfortunately GMH went bust so GM have decided to look for other markets , the American police force is one and a new Comodore called the International with the pontiac parts on it is being sold locally and in overseas markets (Arabia etc). Gotta sell all those bits and pieces somehow

Meh, looks ugly. I like the Chargers a lot better, they look mean. Here is what our local ones look like.

nfsmwlamborghini - I am an "NFS fan". Not sure if you can still call me that for the past few years though. etfren - I was somewhat a fan of the chargers, but I don't really like them anymore to be honest. I think that they look a bit weird as police vehicles. Also, to those that say the car looks a bit small, I'm pretty sure it isn't. The old caprice wasn't small, and this one looks much bigger, so there's no way I see this car being one that is small. Look at makakycs' post for further information.

Srry , but to me a charger is two doors only and that crude mishap they flogged off as the new charger was nothing like the prototype, the prototype was a sexy looking charger even tho it had 4 doors , it still had style and class .
