I have this problem with one particular track: Spa. I've been running a bunch of laps there in an effort to improve my leaderboard standings, but no matter what, no time ever appears on the Spa leaderboard. This is after several days and perhaps 50 laps. My best lap so far is a 2:07.040, which is good enough to crack the top ten on PS3. I should also say that I've had no trouble with any of the other tracks - they all saved my times perfectly.
Has anyone had or heard of this problem? Any suggestions for what might be wrong or what to try? The only thing I wondered is maybe I should use a stock Zonda instead of my tuned version.. guess I'll give that a shot and report.

I have PC version. My times are recording at Spa, at least the ones I remember. MercedesCLKGTR had some times not recorded, but then later times were recorded.

Yeah it's clear that times are saving for other players, even on PS3. There's either some glitch peculiar to my game, or I'm going about it wrong. I'll try with a various cars, handling modes, tuned/untuned etc and see if anything makes a difference. Edit: Something of note - I had a few races with quite a fast guy, hiro3265 (aka fastest_in_jp) and we both ran some decent laps. I was a bit miffed to find his best time from the session appeared in the leaderboard, but my (slightly faster) time didn't show up..

Check to see if the lap times are just slow in getting updated. Start the game, go online into the leaderboards, then check the times for Spa, and then press "2", to toggle between everyone, friends, and some 3rd option that may show your lap times even though the lap times don't appear on the "everyone" list. I've had this happen a few times, where it takes hours for a lap time to appear on the "everyone" list.

Ah yeah I should've mentioned that I'm aware of this. For Spa, my time is missing from all three leaderboard filter modes: World, Player and Friends. And as I said, it's been a couple of days since I started lapping Spa with the intent of climbing the board, but even prior to that I should've registered on there. I've had the game for weeks.

More on this, I've been running laps with various things changed to see if it helps. So far I tried:
- Ranked, Mixed, Medium, Tuned Zonda R - Ranked, Mixed, Short, Tuned Zonda R - Ranked, Mixed, Medium, Stock Zonda R - Ranked, Mixed, Shoft, Stock Zonda R - Ranked, Manufacturer, Medium, Zonda R - Ranked, Manufacturer, Short, Zonda R - Ranked, Manufacturer, Medium, Maserati MC12 - Ranked, Manufacturer, Short, Maserati MC12
So far no joy. I checked the forthcoming patch content too, there's no mention of anything like this in there.
Could be I just have to get used it.

i know your frustration mate, i was recording 2:05:xxx times on spa, and yet none of them were recorded... NFI what was going on. and then they somehow started recording themselves..
the leaderboards that you check, are they PS3 only? or multi console ( PS3/XBOX/PC). there are a bunch of cheated times on the leaderboards. you might get some luck with sending a e-mail to the shift support team. and see what the go is.
NFI what happened with mine.. they were not recording.. then all of a sudden i check the leaderboards and there i was. its very strange.

Ah man well I have to say at least it's a relief to find it's not just me.
I wondered if we somehow submitted a glitched time (like all those 0:00.000 times you see) in the past and after that newer, 'slower' times won't upload because the system thinks we already posted a faster time for that track. Working against that theory is the fact that I don't actually see such a glitched time in the list, but perhaps it's possible?
About the leaderboards, I'm checking the in-game leaderboards, so yeah, PS3 only. I do also watch NFSStats.com, but they draw from the same source anyway.
Anyway good to know your problem cleared up and that there's hope. I think I'll wait it out for a while and see if any magic happens.

Same here...
Even weirder....Make a new account and they will upload..! My main problem is records being deleted..! Once they've been deleted the times driven on that account will not upload anymore.
Example: Road America. Last friday I was holding 1st and 2nd place (HF_koop777 & koop777) If you check now, only my new account is present HF_bladezzz (1.51.xx)

Yeah I remember seeing koop777 and hf_koop777 there, but actually I can still see your 6:03.620 koop777 time in game, and the HF_bladezzz one, but hf_koop777 isnt there. So did the koop777 time actually disappear and then reappear?

No, if they've deleted it, they will not come back..... After the 1st "reset" it took quite a while for my times to upload again, some tracks like SPA and Nordschleife never took my HF_koop777 anymore.(the important ones ) To check i've used my koop777-account. When I looked again, those times did upload..! But because I really want to use a "clan"-account i've made the bladezzz-one for further online-racing The koop777 will only be used for ISRC-races from now on and the HF_koop will go in the fridge for a while or untill bladezzz is "banned" like HF_koop. I've also pointed it out on the EA-site, let's just hope they read it

Argh now I've been hit with the same thing - I checked the in-game leaderboards tonight hoping to see my latest Spa time, but instead I find that my times for 8 tracks are now missing from the leaderboards and I'm either "not currently ranked", or some old time of mine using a slower car is there instead.
The tracks involved are Dakota National, Dakoat Tri-Oval, Donington GP, Road America, Silverstone GP, Spa (we knew about already), Tokyo Club, Willow Springs GP, Willow Springs Horse Thief Mile.
On many of these tracks, it does look like some measure of 'glitch cleaning' has taken place, with a lot of the 0:00.000 times being removed, but on others there are even more glitches. Hmm.
Disappointing, to say the least. I hope we find out somehow why this happens.

Disappointing is an understatement Specially for a leaderboard-junky like me As long as you can drive'm again and the new time does upload I really don't mind too much, If I can drive the time once, I can do it again Sad thing is that your name is "blocked" on those tracks right now (or something like that) Let's hope they will shed some light on this subject....I'm running out of e-mail-adresses for new accounts Is in my friends-list I've send him my Zonda set-up and got back a thank you message that was completely unreadable in happy-sense In my mind,I could see him bowing his head in front of his T.v. Thank you my friend, thank you
