To what truth is to this im not sure i dont follow Gran turusimo that closely and this come up in another forum i frequent. But if this carlist is true i am going to be exctatic. Not all these cars will be in the game but eventually are surposed to be downloadable, totalling 10000 cars this is an impressive list. www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/gaming/33712-gran-turismo-5-a.htmlThe list include my favourites Valiants, so im hoping this list is true Cheers

You have to be joking. GT5 is seriously going to have that many vehicles? I never knew that. I agree with Stig. "Color me impressed." By the way, Stiggie, I recon you're going to try to get your hands on this if possible. Quite a variety of Saabs available for you.

General Motors Futurliner '53 - Are you kidding? A bus? Really? Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo SRT Coupe '06 - Now we're cookin' Ugh.... couldn't get through that list. It's insane. I think this was posted in the old forums. This is a fake list which happens to be created by a car fan who wanted to mention a wishlist, not the cars in the game. Click on the URL and you'll see that the list was posted way back in 2007. As Jussi mentioned earlier, It is true that there should be 1000 cars, not 10000. www.gtplanet.com for any Gran Tursimo News Just had the clear the news up guys

I was really amazed at this car list. I knew it was too good to be true.

Can plastic wheel and mini gas pedal keep up with reality? www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrkultur/0,1518,706077,00.html www.pcgames.de/Gran-Turismo-5-PS3-133781/News/Gran-Turismo-5-im-Test-fuer-Playstation-3-Die-weltweiten-Wertungen-im-Ueberblick-801376/gran-turismo-5.playnation.de/27827,test-grafikprotzer-oder-taugliches-rennabenteuer from Tino 28.11.2010 18:03 meine Vermutungen haben sich schon teilweise bestätigt. P.S. From me: For volks who do not speak german, basically, one can not judge the game after playing it 20 hours. It is a great game after one unlocks all tuning/damage/game difficulty options and gets an access to the top cars, which happens just in the last 3rd of career. It has a gradual learning curve and meant to be played by hardcore racers/tuning freaks, not "fast food" arcade educated gamers.

The TopGear testtrack was cool, driving a T1 VW Transporter, maxing out @ 115KM/H Indeed this is not a game one plays for half an hour or something.. One has to sit down and make an effort to progress. Also it's pretty tricky with the standard PS3 controller though for some for god for saken reason, the G25 is not officially supported though works-ish .. Might need another update for that.. Funny thing is: they took an extra 5 years to finally finish the game but 'forgot' to add G25 support.. Bandit

You are right, Bandit. Clean driving with PS3 controller is very very hard and beating records is virtually impossible; but with g25, everything is excellent and sharp, despite the lack of native support for the not updated version of the game. GT5 is very interesting and fun to play. Reminds me about shift, but is clearly better, although, I have not tried online play yet (want to beat career first ).
