A little respect, sir. I believe I have earned it, my friend. I was mainly joking, but I still think people who got the free CCX with free cars from the bug deserve to be banned. They exploited a clear bug and knew it. Not sure where the line should be drawn, but if more than third of your cars are from the bug, you got a clear advantage over more honest players. Jussi

Oh okay. Sorry, but I think I completly understood the message. He say he bans hackers, they come back anyway, and he dislike banning cayman/charger bug abusers. Also, my piggy story, I see that you haven't read it, it's a direct reference to what is happening. I chose my words wisely, I regret none of them, and being older doesn't mean better. If you want to continue bashing me, keep it to the pms, we don't need negativity here... a misplaced post caused all this mess. I believe he meant that they should not be banning people for abusing this bug when there are so many other people that need to be banned, AKA the 'hackers'. Essentially saying they should not be wasting their efforts on clean DRIVERS such as yourself. A little respect, sir. I believe I have earned it, my friend. Jussi I am upset with EA for providing a medium that allowed people to get an advantage over other players. It's not the player's fault that this happened. Even AFTER it happened, they didn't ROLL BACK everything like they should have. They should have shut down the servers and rolled back the entire system... None of this would have mattered if they just rolled back everything instead of banning accounts. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I must say I have no idea how your mind came to this conclusion. andsoclean had a perfect understanding of what I posted. I have no hidden agenda and for you to presume so is something that I do take quite personally. As you really do not know me I will consider this error in judgement immaturity. If it is not immaturity, as you suggest, then I would say it borders on absurdity. The fact that you felt confident in implying that I had an agenda and that I was dishonest shows you absolutely missed the point! The fact that you think you "chose your word wisely and regret none of them" and "being older doesn't mean better" is almost laughable! Almost. DerpyMail I spoke what I meant just as I always do. I simply reiterated my feelings about the store-keeper's error because you had been banned. Nothing more and nothing less. I am your friend as I have always been. Faster

Jussi I apologize if I missed the humor in your comment, my friend. I am pretty sure you knew I had this opinion of EA's error before I ever joined StrongForce Racers. If my memory serves I ranted about this on this forum the day the banning threats came down from EA. I always felt that the customer is always right in the case of the store making an error in pricing and or amount available. I felt like EA should have said "our bad" please enjoy the treasure-hunter, skark Cayman, and J-naut SRT8. I do see your point about the excessive abuse to get the CCX. I do not see a clear line as to where a ban can be enforced. Faster

For my part, and I think for all the others' too, I knew it was a serious bug and taking advantage of it would probably get you banned, so I didn't take advantage of it (I got myself 2 caymans and that's it). Yet other people took advantage of it knowing it was a justified ban reason and just got lucky enough to not get banned in the end. Hell, I remember devs even started warning everyone implying a possible ban hammer incoming and how the kids rushed to open threads saying stuff like "omfg, I abused the glitch, I'll probably get banned, right?". tl;dr: they knew they were abusing a glitch, they got lucky to not get banned and the few ones who did get banned from nfsw or nfstimes a little bit later then came out crying for their, what seemed a, unjustified ban.

Never would have been possible if EA didn't screw up. Never would have been an ongoing issue NOR require anyone being banned if they just did a roll-back. What about the 90% of the World community that doesn't frequent the website or the forums? It was never a 'justified' ban reason. It was just a ban reason that EA made up, instead of fixing the issue. It's the LAZY response to ban people for something that was only ever possible because EA screwed up. If you want to get technical - I know that in the U.S., stores/companies HAVE to provide a product/service at the listed price. The listed price for these cars was free. I was able to get a $3,000 stereo system for $300 from Best Buy because the sticker price was $300... I knew the system was worth $3,000 and when the manager came out and realized I knew this law, I got the system for $300. They should have just fixed the issue and did a roll-back, refunding any spent Speedboost within a certain time range... problem solved.
