Thew mostly junk ultras on the Cortina to get the OA up and still cranked out a fairly good time. This car was mis-grouped (like Zonda F in EEE), but it's somewhat understandable considering nobody really knew anything about it. It's the second rarest car in NFSW behind the CPP-only Ford Interceptor. If it's any consolation, Cortina's super-light weight will pose a problem for it when we start smashing gates at Waterfront in the next round. About Cortina tuning: It feels like it gets a lot of its power from the low-end (think R32), but you have to handle it with a steady hand or you'll smoke the tires and shave speed like mad. I'll probably tune it YBG(B/G)YY when I bring this car back down to B class. 2:46.196 - gunsmokephoenix - Ford Lotus Cortina - 651 - 60nfstimes.com/nfsw/pc/GUNSMKEPHOENIX/times www.nfsunlimited.net/leaderboards/team/ISRC

Jussi I think the thing we all missed is that a race-tuned Cortina actually goes into A-class iirc. (I'll double check this) It's also the only group 3 vehicle that crosses the 700 OA mark, the next closest is the Focus @ 673 OA. Group 4 would've put it above the Escort mk1 (598OA with race-tuned Gromlens) and made it eligible for only 1 group restricted race. What we all thought the Solstice would do in group 1, the Cortina ended up doing in group 3. That said, hind sight is 20/20. No harm, no foul. I don't think anyone here can honestly say that they saw this coming. I most certainly didn't. Edit: Semi-random smattering of race-tuned parts.

The FI and the brakes are both sport, not tuned. NFSTimes shows the highest OA Cortina it's seen @ 707 OA.

Are there any other ones with wrong end class? None as far as I can tell. All of the rest appear to be as they should, the only one that really sticks out is the Cortina.
