1:56.11 - Nicozzzzzzzzzz - Chevrolet Cobalt SS - 499 - 51 Sigh, I can't believe that after all the trouble we went through explaining this there's still people who do not understand it. AQ9, you started this series with your AQ9 in-game handle so keep it that way, don't post your confirmation line using NicoINFINITEZETS because that would jam the results once jussi posts them in the spreadsheet, as your entries would state as two different drivers and you'd have a DNF with AQ9 in this event and NicoINFINITEZETS would have a DNF in the run at the other event. As per me, I'm thinking of retiring from this series, as my keyboard here cannot compete with all the controller/wheel users. Did 50 runs the last week and couldn't improve my time, did aproximately as much this week too and couldn't get it not even below 1:57. I mean, I'll end up being 20th or so, when I'm usually way higher, up at 10th or so, next to gunsmokenphoenix; there's just way too many new racers with a controller/wheel. I know I'm not the best here, but I'm not that bad either, and it's desperate and agonizing to even try to improve your time when you see you've done 1:57.xx 20 times in a row while others are doing 1:55.xx easy peasy lemon squeezy. sigh. 1:57.350 - DANTESKA - Chevrolet Cobalt SS - 499 - 60 nfstimes.com/nfsw/pc/DANTESKA/times

Speed retention is so crucial on these high-speed tracks (sans P-ups) that it really does put KB drivers at a disadvantage. Perhaps we should consider adding a new entry to the confirmation line for the input device used. Something like... (italicized to disambiguate) 1:56.048 - gunsmokephoenix - Chevrolet Chevelle SS - 499 - 60 - CTSo that KB = Keyboard, CT = Controller, WH = Wheel. This way drivers would be able to more accurately gauge their performance against their competitors/peers/friends, without actually changing the playing field. Consider it another layer of transparency to add to what we can learn about the game and each other. Chandrian, I really hope you decide to stick around. You're one of the fastest KB drivers here, and you've done very well to hold your own against the controller/wheel crowd. Your results show the rest of the KB drivers that you don't have to have a controller/wheel to be knocking elbows with that group, you just have to possess the experience and skill. Unfortunately, this week was the exception rather than the rule.
