Grrr... Please tell me what I can do to improve this? I can not unlock all races without beating these damn drift events. Jussi

Did you... Handbrake, then turn and tap in opposite direction?

I sure tried, but I'm not much of a tapper, especially since I should be tapping the acceleration and the steering at the same time. Jussi

You don't tap the accelerator, just the steering.

You don't tap the accelerator, just the steering. Do you have this game? Try Casual Mode with TC High, ABS and Stability Off... Choose Easy! Thanks Rogério, I will try that (my difficulty is on easy already, the game is hard enough for me that way). Jussi

I tried the demo. It's likely I'll get it, if I'm able to save enough money before WO comes out. I posted that because that's how I'm able to drift on keyboard.

I posted that because that's how I'm able to drift on keyboard. It does indeed work on other games, but not so well in this one. The cars tend to spin out when I try to drift with full throttle. This is way harder than GRID or ProStreet. I think Vaughn Gittin Jr. convinced them to make the drift a simulation. But who decided on the AI scores? Jussi

Rogério's settings did not change my scores, but... I was finally able to find a car that I could finish the event with, look... Jussi PS. I only had Infiniti G35 and Nissan 350z left to try.

try using M3 E36.Its best for me .Then acquire speed NOT more then 100 KM/H any more is BAD.Then to enter a corner DON'T break just turn slightly in the direction you want to go and try to maintain it NOT BY COUNTERSTEERING.why:Countersteering sucks in thes game,in a ll other games it OK to countersteer but not in thes game.Yes i know it sucks . If you fractice long enough you slould get really high scores.once i scored 1209 points in 1 heat. Let me know if you achieve anything.

oh and dont hold the steering pad.Yust tap it contantly. You have to get a feeling when to tap it,depending on the curve.its not a thing to be precise about.its all in the feeling. Not like NFS:PS:"Come to the coner and slide it trough."
