Wow, thats a big cut. I guess if the game allows it.... That big a cut should never be allowed in our PBRC´s. Imagine a time this fast without a video to back it up? Everybody would think something fishy was going on - which there was Poul

The telephone poles are track markers and should not be taking on the inside - they are there for a reason and that is to make that particular turn that much harder.
Jussi tell me what you think of cutting the track on the inside of the telephone poles on this one? Just because the developers of the game did not think someone would actually take that big a cut and therefor did not make sure a reset was given - does not make it all right to take cuts that big in my book.

Awww man... I figured it out when racing online and got bump off the track and went through that field expect to reset and I came out on the other side untouched...LOL.. I also hit that jump there and do a duke of harzard style jump...if you hit that jump just right you can come out on the other side of the street.... it's a wild ride.... lol The telephone poles are track markers and should not be taking on the inside - they are there for a reason and that is to make that particular turn that much harder. Hi!
In my run I also went on the left of the poles, although very close to them, I wasnt aware it was possible to cut so much... I started doing that and will continue to do it (therefor for me this cut should be allowed), because when I go outside the poles my car looses the ability to turn right... Its like it gets stuck turning left... Dont know if this happen to anyone else, but its what happens to me (still didnt try after the patch). Even doing the cut, sometimes I cant turn... Jussi really knew how to choose this one! ;S
Rogério
PS: On a side note, that video was done with Keyboard... Again Digital allowing incredible time! :S

Again Digital allowing incredible time! :S I have the same problem not being able to turn right, but only if im in the left lane when exiting the corner. If you can stay in the right lane, the car will turn right, as in my video. That is what i was meaning last week when we was chatting in Origin. As for the cut, i also dont have a problem with it. If this was Shift or a track racing game, then no way, but the purpose of this game is to get from point A to point B as fast as possible, any way possible. They have you driving through parks and allies and other short cuts. On alot of tracks, you have to cut corners to avoid the traffic anyways. Besides, whats the difference in cutting and using traffic cars to better times. Bouncing off traffic cars is no different than bouncing off walls to better your time and we all have done that in this game. We should decide now, what we can and cant do, before we go any further, while we are waiting for a patch to fix the patch . I think it would be nice to ban bouncing off cars to better our times, that would take some of the luck factor out of our comps. I would like to ban cutting too, but like i said, sometimes you have to, to avoid traffic and that would only add to the luck factor. So we should probably allow cutting. I am ok with whatever we decide though, i just hope we can eliminate some of the luck factor and make it more about our driving skills.

In my opinion going inside of those telephone poles has nothing to do with driving skills or luck factor - they are there to make the turn more difficult. I agree bouncing off an AI car is also not something recommendable, but that is sometimes hard to avoid. And just how big a cut is allowed in that turn then? Like we saw in that video? Then people will start exploiting each corner in each track - just to see if cutting it big is possible But that just my opinion, but i will not take the inside of those poles - and I think Aaron just showed that a fast time is possible without a cut. Great driving Aaron Edited: And yes I too have that problem turning right in that turn, if I am in the opposite lane. Poul

Hi all! Well, since there is a solution, I dont see the need to cut also... I wasnt aware of that, and now that I know I will try to do it without cutting! Rogério
