This one is all about luck. Your car is moving so slow, that it makes it difficult to get around oncoming traffic - that is the traffic you realize was behind the next turn - further you have no way of anticipating which lane. And if you get a reset just before the shortcut, you get full speed once you respawn - that is a possible exploitation and should not had been available. Here is something for everyone to chase... I ran a few laps last night, this track is going to be very frustrating! I will be lucky to finish 1 out of 20 runs without crashing into AI cars. I did notice it seems that the more you restart the less the AI cars are in the way, but that could have just been me getting used to the track. I believe, the winner of this race will be the one who has the most patience and luck.

I have also noticed the same thing,, there are less cars on restarts not by much but maybe one or two less cars to deal with,,,,, Mr Birthday boy is hot this week..... Why don't you make us a video of this track Poul... I can do the run with zero resets but my time is over 2.00 mins... I must have tried 15 times last night to make video of a run under 2:00 mins without crashing and it didn't happen..... I ran a few laps last night, this track is going to be very frustrating! This track would be fun as hell if there was no traffic. I think low 1:52, maybe high 1:51 is possible here. My best so far... 1:54.23 - aarog5606 - Ford Focus RS( ) - 0 resets I have a video of this run Sunny if you need, but im sure Poul will improve and post his soon. One thing i really dont like about this game... Since when is a Focus faster than a Mustang? and a VW Golf faster than a Porsche or Lambo or any supercar?

Aaron please upload your video - would be nice to see. I also see Rogerio did an outstanding time - wonder whether he would upload a video of that as well?

Sure, i will do it now. Traffic caused me to take the wrong line a few times, slowed me down quite a bit. Oh and Jussi, im not happy with you, making me use a Ford...

Very nice Aaron - traffic can sure be a pain... look at my time - 1.79 ahead of your time when I kissed that oncoming car trying to get pass. Low 1.52 sure is possible.. Poul

Hi all! I started trying a race here at 22h local time. By 23h I had been unable to finish a single Race... Nowdays 1h is, many times, what I have for gaming each day... So, I just lost my patience... I had a decision to make: or to just dont Race or use resets. In respect to ISRC I decided for the second, even if the penalty is great. Anyway, after less then 15m I had that 1m 52.83s. About what is possible, I think Aaron is correct. I saw the video I recorded and when I crashed (on the 1st long left of the track) I was a few tenths slower then what I had manage before and the reset didnt got me any advantage whatsoever, nor in time nor in nos recharge (like can be seen in the video). In the last part of the track, the last few corners, especially an open left and the last long right over the dirt, I clearly lost time because I was very unfamiliar with that part of the track, since I rarely got there when trying the race without resets (LOL! :x). In conclusion, probably even 1m 51s is possible, but low 1m 52s for sure. Like Aaron said, this track without traffic would be really something. I also take the opportunity to ask Jussi what is his criteria to choose the tracks! I mean, in this Challenge Series I believe the McLaren one would be more fair and less frustrating. Cya all! Rogério PS: Poul, if my time is not beaten during the day, I will upload the video later when I get home (still have to compress it) or tomorrow latest.

Rogerio I will try to beat it, but I think I have a better chance in the morning before I go to work, because I am usually too tired to keep my eyes open for racing at night.
I agree that a 1.51 would be a strong time on this one, but it takes a lot of patience, because if just one AI car is in the way - getting around ruins the run.

Here is an entry that perhaps not is my fastest possible, but I am not sure that I am going to try to improve further with this car. I saw a thread about this challenge in EA forum, where someone linked a 1.49.xx video using the Mustang Boss, so the Focus RS is assumingly not the fastest on this track. I however find that Boss car too damn heavy and it will take me quite some time to be able to make a clean run on this one. But those who favor heavy muscle cars... Great time Poul, im glad to see a Mustang is faster than a Focus though. I figured i would try a few runs with the Mustang now i know the track, it handles good enough for this track. Didnt take me long to do a 1:52.50 with it. Not near as forgiving in traffic though, it will take a lot of luck for the traffic to be positioned so as they are out of the way.

Glad to hear it Aaron, looks like we will see a Muscle car on top. Here is my video, notice my time at one point was 1.2 sec ahead of Rogerio´s, so a 1.51 can be done.
