I'm starting to enjoy the game a bit more even tho its still frustrating. Playing online is crazy and it's rare to find anyone who can drive without wall riding or attempting to crash into everyone and at the same time are able to maintain their speed (how???) Still got a long way to go to unlock all the cars but I've just been posting times and beating my recommendations. I will be looking forward to hook up with some of you guys online just so I can race with people who know how to drive honestly and the way the game should be played. Peace I can only hope that you don't start liking the game too much and become such a pain in my behind as your old man was in GRiD. Always being faster than I was... The game starts to come to me a bit more now, I am starting to like it a bit more too. The Run itself doesn't appeal to me that much, but the Recommendations and so on are starting to be fun to try to get. Unless there is a gap of 12 seconds or more between me and the guy I have to beat. I guess it all comes down to me having to try harder, which I don't want to do anymore, but if I have to... lol dad is to good, I won't ever reach his level. I can't spend to long doing the same challenge for to long, so if I get a good time that is competitive then I'll leave it at that. Some guys are way to fast for me on some tracks, so again I'll have a few tries and that's it, I won't be drawn in or become obsessive over this game. Brad

I have been doing the Live Free Or Drive Hard Challenge these last days and finally get a good time of 2.05.67, but seeing the video of my race I realize I can do much better - maybe even a high 2.04 or something. Of course I am beaten by cip189 (2.05.27) whom when told about this challenge only took less than 48 hours to beat my previous time - damn him. I lost a half second going through the park (compared to CiprianiĀ“s time), so I know I can beat him, but it is getting really hard to improve further. But glad to see that a Lamborghini is still faster than a Nissan 240SX Poul

Poul I see you have a frame rate of 100 fps showing in your screenshot. I thought The Run was capped at 30 fps? That is all I get and I feel it is far to slow. Have you been able to to increase yours? B

Have you been able to to increase yours? B Hey Brian No that 100 fps you see in the screen shot is from Windows Media Player. I forgot to take a picture when I had opened The Run, and felt it took too much time to reopen the game - so I just took a screeny from the video - much faster - lazy me Actually it should be 120 fps, because that is my monitors refresh rate, but I do not know why WMP only shows 100 fps when running. Well, I got it for Christmas and started playing it today. Right away, the only things that are bugging me about the game so far are: What do I like? Hmmm... once I get used to flimsy handling, maybe I'll start seeing some good. Yeah, I'm hard to please.
