My first NFS was Hot Pursuit 98 which is also my most favorite, I played all NFS series except for Motor City Online and Nitro. I've been watching this thread for a long time hoping for a Mercedes to pop in the list... I'm a huge Mercedes fan and this is driving me nuts
Our first one was 486 DX2 66 MHz clocked at 132 Mhz. We put Windows 95 in it and played first person games like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Hexen and Duke Nukem 3D on it. We also had Wacky Wheels, which we played split screen with friends on party nights.

Ohyeah, let's go back to just after the big bang when my parents bought their first PC, a Tulip (Dutch brand) desktop PC with a processor that could actually reach the magical 4 Megahertz mark and featured a two collour screen, black and green!

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): And unfortunately, the way Need For Speed games were for quite long time didn't help this place at all, for starters, I dropped off from NFS games completely. I did get both Shifts, Hot Pursuit (2010) and later Rivals, but they weren't enough...

Chandrian: I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players.

Chandrian: The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server.
