Need for Speed The Run is a race from San Francisco to New York. No speed limits, no rules, no allies. All you have to rely on are your driving skills and your ride. You'll be facing hundreds of the world’s most notorious drivers and the country’s most dangerous roads. Your journey will take you through dense urban centers, icy mountain passes and narrow canyons at breakneck speeds, all the while evading a relentless police force prepared to take you down.
The game will be powered by the Frostbite 2.0 engine (from Battlefield 3) and improved Autolog system.
As i posted on facebook, wont be buying this one unless Shift2 gets the DLC's, just like i didn't buy HP because of shift1! Bugger supporting this mob, they don't seem to give a toss about us PC users! I recommended shift2 to a heap of peeps now all i got is pissed off mates and a half busted game, fucked if i'll recommend anything NFS again!
It looks like it will be kinda NFS Undercover 2 with a more serious story line.
+ They took ideas from very old NFS series where we raced in the snow/jungle/desert, so it will be RUN all over the USA
100% Arcade + latest version of cop AI + crafted for consoles.
Uless EA will spend enough time for script/development and hires talented storywriters, it won't be the game people will like much.
P.S.> Many express desire for EA to concentrate more on polishing existing titles and making money releasing various DLCs with cars/tracks/game modes/online functions updates. But unfortunately (or fortunately), EA already fired Slightly Mad Studio Team. So what we got with Shift2 is the last piece of a racing sim from EA for at least coming 2 years.
In the interview, they admit making it for a 'mass market'. He also says that getting out of the car (while on the train tracks) will be a puzzle so you have to work out how to escape. Then the next shot shows you exactly how

Hell yea, I've own every racing game that EA has ever made way back to 1997 I think,,, back then they were NASCAR racing games and I have always owned a steering wheel, never played with a gamepad except over at my nephew house playing one of his Mario kart racing games which I didn't do very well...
suggestions no still having a little fun with Shift 2 if I could find someone to race with....
CmdrTomalak (PC/PS3/PS4): Yep. Dead. Dead. Dead... Somebody should put it out of its misery. It all started waaaaaay back when Most Wanted came out and we all met on the EA forums and decided to branch out on our own. Sad way to go...

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): And unfortunately, the way Need For Speed games were for quite long time didn't help this place at all, for starters, I dropped off from NFS games completely. I did get both Shifts, Hot Pursuit (2010) and later Rivals, but they weren't enough...

Chandrian: I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players.

Chandrian: The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server.

Chandrian: You have to start with a new driver profile, but the progression isn't that hard. If you wanna play NFSW online again, then I advise downloading the launcher of this online server and also joining this Discord server:
