Don't mind if I do! Thanks for the heads up. Jussi PS. Poul, that just means that your PC liked the game as is and others' PC couldn't handle it right out of the box.

I honestly can not feel that the cars handling has improved, is everyone faster than before with this new patch? Strange, but I am not... Poul I haven't noticed any difference at all. Hey guys, do you have (or have you tried) the "allow games to make changes" checked and center spring disabled in profiler? That made a big difference for me.

Aaron, I tried different cars from class C and D without using your profiler suggestions, and I felt significant difference in handling with the new patch. I will try your settings tomorrow. But, for the rest of us I also have a rumor, that we may expect a 3rd DLC coming soon, besides Legends DLC and Drag DLC. It will be Summertime-Convertibles DLC: It will have 5 new cars (actually 4 new): Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, Aston Martin DBS Volante, Audi R8 Spyder, Koenigsegg Agera, Pagani Cinque Roadster. And new events will include gorgeous races on Miami and Riviera tracks. i56.tinypic.com/2aj6dmo.jpg

I honestly can not feel that the cars handling has improved, is everyone faster than before with this new patch? Strange, but I am not... Poul Poul, the car and the fact of you having or not a custom setup in place is very relevant. On the Apollo I just improved 0.7s, which can almost be confused with no improvement at all in a Lap that takes close to 1m 50s, in the sense I am using Default Setup. But in SLS, which was a car that had no feeling whatsoever, I improved 3.5s... Just take a car you remember being terrible to drive and give it a go again. Rogério

For some reason, I do not really like Aarons profiler settings, my regular ones seem to be faster. But may be I am just lazy to retune all the cars...

The patch may have helped a little, but there's still a yaw stability issue which is also causing cars to oversteer with a minimum of steering input and requiring advance correction in anticipation of the oversteer response, so you end up memorizing control inputs as opposed to relying on feedback from the game.

Me either I tried his setup last night, However his setup was driveable but still to lose for me.. He must have some other settings to off set the lose center spring steering. I managed to get my game re-installed and patched. Still have to try it out. I notice the PS3 version patch 1.02 was released today.

After playing with tuning, my conclusions: Aaron's tip works well for many previously undrivable cars, thx for sharing.

Yeah, some extra official cars from EA would be very welcomed, even if they will lack so-called "CAD Data" (Honestly, I think, if CAD data was used by EA/SMS, then only for GT3 and GT1 cars. Because regular cars in Shift2 seem to handle completely different from ones in GT5, where Acura NSX and Honda S2000 were best handling and fastest cars in the whole game) For folks who will decide to try out new Shift2 cars I mentioned, I made an official tutorial on EA Forum how to install them. Here it is: 1.Go to the nfs-game.com/load/need_for_speed_shift/patchi_mody/45-1-22.Use Google Translator Toolbar:3.Your screen will look like this. And as you see, this link has 6 pages of different cars with 36 new cars added to the game. 4.Just find your favorite car and click on its name:5.Now, download the carIt will be a RAR Archive that will contain Pakfiles in *.bff format. As in case of Camaro Z28 '69, you will need to replace your old Honda Civic files with it. 6.Enjoy your new car.
