I am using exact the same engine parts as ThomasT,
but for twisty tracks
I have different bundle of upgrades for my Audi.

I was running low 18s but need to wait for Wednesday
to patch my game and have at least 1 hour
of gametime to set a very good laptime.

Currently I have Competition cams, Engine swap and Cold air intake system. What engine parts are you guys using exactly? I had the same except instead of Cold Air IS, I had the tune-all-gear-upgrade. I tried your setup and immediately got a much better launch. So that's 0.2 of a second gained on the first lap, and I don't lose anything by not having individual set up gears. It's in the second sector where I really struggle. You destroy me with half a second each lap just in the second sector. I think this is all down to my driving. Not carrying enough speed through those two tricky right-handers. |

Nice time for the 1st attempt, Aaron.
Looks like 1.01 patch works well for this competition.
I need to run at least 5 times
just to get 2:18 with R8 and V1.00 of the game.
Not sure that I will be able to keep up
unless I discover some magic setups.

Thanks Dimitri, dont get me wrong, i ran 15 to 20 races to get that time.  I think high 2:16 will be my limit with these parts. I also seen your race invites yesterday and i tried to accept twice but there is still no way to accept as far as i know. I clicked on your name but it didnt give me a option to accept, also pushed about every button on the keyboard to see if one would work. Hopefully they get this fixed. |

Strange, may be it was because we have different game versions, or because my racegroup left lobby and started racing before you clicked on my name. Sometimes, Autolog gives late notifications (with the appox. 1 min delay). Anyway, we can try again next time.  |
