I'm eager to see what people will be able to achieve here. My C-class car is an R8 that I just threw together without any attempt at finding the best combination of parts. It has still been extraordinary online, but I suppose the real test comes here. Did a few laps yesterday, but I was too eager testing the patch, so I didn't upload any screenshots. Stictly unofficial, my best so far is 2:19.3. If I match my best sector times on all six sectors, it would be about 2:18.8, but there's probably more to get by trying different parts. I won't be surprised if we see below 2:15 by the best guys. I also have a feeling the last chicane can be cut a lot more than I do...

Nice vid, Skroting =) Nice also to see someone being able to drive sitting inside the car and not ontop of the hood while driving with a green arrowed line on the road telling them where to go I think I'll try this one in a few days. Edit: And regarding your comment on cutting the last chicane. In a serious competition you wouldnt be allowed to cut as much as you do even, so I hope people wont cut more. =/

If you cut just a little more then your time is invalidated. I find it natural to draw the line where the line really is. If you get a valid time then you didn't cut too much. It gets difficult to govern if you have the typical two-wheels-on-the-track-rule in a competition where it isn't required to upload a video.
Then again, this is a trust-based competition. There's nothing keeping people from using a more powerful car in the race and then remove the added upgrades before they take the screenshot of the car's rating. The biggest point with PBRCs - in my opinion - is to push yourself, and be pushed even further by others, and in this regard it's completely pointless to cheat.
Looking forwards to see what you will do out there.

It's true, Skrotingen. And the problem is the many noobs and children in a game like this, if a cut is possible people will do it and it will show up on leaderboards. So to get the fastest times you cant regulate it.
I would be curious to see what people can do with the shelby cobra here also.. After the patch I can now change the gear ratios on that thing and it should be really fast, just a little more inconsistent maybe.

@jussi: Thanks I'll check it out! skroting: I must admit that I thought your lap time would be good, but I might even underestimated you that being said Tried a couple times today and best I could produce with the Audi was 2,18,5. With Caterham Superlight I got a 2,20,5

Hi all, I did some various tests with possibly fast cars and theyre parts. First of all, thanks to Skroting for finding the R8 - an awesome C-class car ! I've never thought that the R8 could be that fast with only few tuning options. I'm using this one in B-class, and it's really awesome. It seems he don't need forced induction to be a rocket (the V10 swap is simply great). Some achieved results - Porsche Cayman S - I am using him for C-class career events, not bad result for a 382 HP car : C998 with NOS Audi R8 : C995 without NOS And for comparing purposes only, two older legends - Toyota Corolla AE86 - this is called by a grip : C996 with NOS Shelby Cobra 427 - untouchable : C999 without NOS About that Cobra, Tomas, I'm using her for long time as C-class car. She is unbeatet yet, with Norschleife run 6.53 w/out NOS and rough mistakes. This car has an awesome potencial, with freshly installed v1.01 patch we can finally tune the gear ratios, so the times could be improved. I have the 2.14.7 run, if anyone is interested. Paul

Thanks to Paul I discovered I had the wrong parts. But still not sure what's fastest. Currently I have Competition cams, Engine swap and Cold air intake system. What engine parts are you guys using exactly?

But I am really curious, whether Paul can repeat this times without cutting the track
