Sure monster, with a watercooled System and, no offense, a first generation Fermi GPU, You need Power^^, but remember this is not a "real consumption" value, its just a recommendation what You should buy. Marco PS: i forgot the funny thing, sunny, since im not working with PCs anymore, i work for this company: monster.com and its not a joke, but our green (second Cmopany color) isnt such great, the purple is better

That GTX460 of Sunny´s does not use much power, nothing like my old GTX285 - difference is maybe 80-100W Poul

Poul, Youre right, but i meaned the difference of the first Fermi GPUs compared to the second ones (i dont compare to ATis HD5xxx, this i too painfull^^ for a nvidia freak as me), but 100W, im not sure, 50 should be more realistic in my mind (but i forgot many things so im not sure at all) Marco

Only if you ran Furmark with two GTX580 in SLI, would you need more than a 1000W PSU. Poul No Poul i use 2 GTX 580 in SLI Mode with overclocked Intel 980X@4100 Mhz and Furmark run easily. I use an Enermax Revolution 85+ 920W, that´s enough. Have tested an Corsair AX 1200 but the VT´s are not quiet with my Gigabyte X58A-UD7. The real Problem is Shift 2 doesn´t support SLI. With SLI enabled it runs with 30Fps when SLI is disabled it runs with 60-100 Frames. (1680x1050,max. details)

I never used an Corsair PSU, just RAMs, so i can not judge it. The only thing I can suggest to Rogerio is to take a high efficient one, and modular, as Poul said. High efficient because dont forgot than a better PSU reduce your overall power comsumption, and it can be a lot of money if you calculate it over a year or two! depending on your HW and how much time You use the PC Marco

Damn, what kind of Prizes You have to pay in Portugal mate, its crazy...Maybe You should think about shipping from Germany... Anyway, youll get a nice Rig for a moment @poul Thats always the same with benchmarks and peak load tests, i dont really trust them...:http://www.tweakpc.de/hardware/tests/grafikkarten/gainward_nvidia_geforce_gtx_460_glh/s05.php A bit different difference ( ) looking at GTX460 vs GTX285 But now, back to the online crashfest, i need to drive drunk today!! Rogerio you can save like 90- 100 Euro if you buy the i5 2500. It runs 3.3 GHz compared to the 2600´s 3.4 GHz and you will never be able to tell the difference from only 100MHz. Please have a look at this link, where you can see the difference between 2600 and 2500. Don´t mind it´s the k-series they are reviewing - it´s the same with the non-overclockable ones too. Rxtus perhaps you would be so kind to confirm that.... www.anandtech.com/show/4083/the-sandy-bridge-review-intel-core-i7-2600k-i5-2500k-core-i3-2100-tested/20Poul

Note that Intel had a recent recall on all P67 chipsets. This affects a lot of motherboards that run the 2500 or 2600 cpus. Make sure you get one of the post recall motherboards.

@poul, if it was for Gaming only I would go with the 2500, but since I want it to a bit more...
@jeff, I think REV 3.0 from ASUS is posterior to that! :S Or I hope so! :X

Just look at that link I provided and read the article -it does not matter if it is for something else you want it - THERE IS ONLY A VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM - ONLY 100 MHz.
That article shows benchmark of everything you can think of - and the 2500 is just as fast or faster as Rxtus i7 980X - and I shit you not - that CPU Rxtus has (i7 980X), he would have paid a 1000$, if he had bought it when it came out. That CPU (2500) is just as fast.
Damn it Rogerio - go buy the 2500 and if you are prepared to pay that much for the 2600, then those money would have been better spent in a faster graphics card.

I am going to put together a list of links for PC benchmark testing plus a few other links related to PC performance testing after I have everything we need, such as mother board, RAM, Hard drive, Video card, PSU, band weigh, ping rate, stress test..
I am going to lock it and stick it up toward the top... so no one can reply to it and so who ever needs to test there PC's performance can find it..
I like the link Marco put out on that Power consumption site that was ready cool.. Rogerio make sure you run that link of Marco when you get you're new PC's configuration figure out... You can run that link on your old computer for reference on the new PC for power requirements..
Anyone want to place a few links here that we can all test on PC performance.. I looked through to many threads Poul looking for all those benchmark link you posted and I cant find chit, there like 42 pages of discussion on PC performance and I was unable to find only a few but they may be to old by todays standards of state of the art PC's

Dont get XFX graphic card they have bad coolin..... better get sapphire its better ATI brand.... Indeed, still yesterday I did that change! @poul: I saw all tests and on some of them differences are quite big, like in 3DMark Vantage, where is about 30%. I dont intend to update the system every year, and those differences, even if small on most applications, will add to something. Another thing is the Multithreading, which I believe will increase in importance even more then it has today. Now, on the video card side, I am pretty sure that in 12 to 18 months I will change it! ;P Guys, I see this Turbo Mode refered in many places... How does it work? Its automatic? You have to enable it? The processor changes the multiplier internally or it affects the memories like in overclocks? Sorry for the probably dumb questions! ;P Thanks! Rogério
