Tomas I have seen your videos on youtube, and I was wondering are you using a G27 wheel? I have seen the WR videos you uploaded and the way your LP640 handles is much different and better than mine. What settings are you using with your wheel? I am using speed sensitivity and wheel 50%. wheel degreee of rotation 180 and nothing else out of the ordinary - no assists.

Yes, G27 and fanatec club sport pedals. For the WR's I didnt race career or online, which needs more neutral wheel settings I guess. Rotation degrees between 360-540, set in game (900 as base in profiler). 100 % FFB in game and in profiler. No center spring, to know whats going on and be able to counter steer. With 180 degrees and the slip angle being only a fraction of that, you will slide around and lose alot of traction I believe.
As I told some other people, wheel settings is probably more important and track specific than car setup in this game. Because you have to deal with a very unrealistic badly simulated and narrow slip angle at the same time as the car loses traction in swaying and oversteering by too much throttle and massive understeering during negative throttle.
If you play around with different steering sensitivity and speed sensitivity settings on different kinds of tracks (i.e laguna vs. spa) you will understand what I mean better than I can explain it. Also remember, as in Shift 1, replays looks smoother and off course as a general rule a fast lap where you get it right always looks easy and controlled no matter how the car handles.
And last tip I come up with is that with the murc probably most people people would be faster in it if they could not press the throttle more than maybe 80-90 %. If we had throttle meters in this game you would see that I am very little in full throttle, except on the straights. Even in easy high speed turns I lift a little. Probably my pedals with further travel helps with controlling this. G27 is a very good wheel but the pedals are crap.
