LQQks like Poul will pull a 2.36.xx here. Have fun and enjoy the ride Spiko I had to reinstall the game and delete all other NFS games in order for my wheel to work again. Actually after I had reinstalled and made a new profile in Logitech for Shift - there still seemed to be something funny going on. It turned out it was just because I had lost the feeling with the game and it took more than 3 hours of practicing this race, to become familiar with how you are supposed to drive in this game. After a while I was down to doing 2.40 on each run, but I could not match Aaron´s time, so I decided to lower the gear ratio and try a more accelerated approach - that worked better But I will not be able to do 1.36 at all Poul

well I am glad you could make it Poul, that just means I have to find a fat lady singing video I'll try to lower my gears and maybe I can break the 2.39 barrier... I wished I was a better tuner I wouldn't need any help.........

I am happy you figured it out also Poul, i am even more happy you had to work to beat my time. I should be able to get a low 2:38 with enough practice. I would be suprised if you dont get a 2:37 Poul. My best lap overall is 51.00. Sunny i will share my setup in this thread, sometime today, it is specifically for this track with very low gearing also. And a video if needed.

I believe that short gear helps a lot. Setup for the specific track is very important . But in my opinion, the pilot experience on the track is what defines the difference in time. By increasing your experience of the track, the faster you will ...
I have as an example, my setup on gallardo rating 14 on Road America track ... I have the same setup for 6 months and during this period, I lowered my time of 2:01 to 1:57:540 .. This difference was defined as the experience I gained on the track during this period. And I'm sure I did not reach the limit of this setup. I think I can do with this setup, the time of 1:56:9 or a little less.
One thing I learned in racing games is that you always learn more about the track, no matter how long you ride it ... Always appear a detail you had not seen or tips of some more experienced pilot.
And so you'll be even faster and faster.
In short .. Can I have now the same setup of aarog or Grnkjr0 or cipriani, but it will be difficult to walk at the same level as them, because right now they have the most experience.
PS: I do not want, with this thought, disrespect anyone here. I admire the experience of many riders here like greenmonster, aaron and Grnkjr0 and many others from ISRC. It was just like I see something that makes much difference in the race.

I see everyone has got even faster. Hi Poul how are you? Thank for great music just my taste. Thanks for your setups Aarog but they just made me 3 sec slower. Different driving style I think. I remember Poul sending me a Blue print in Pro Street that i could hardly drive and nobody seemed to be able to drive mine. Anyway been a hectic week so I have not put much time in this but here is my latest after a bit of tuning. I will try my best to get some more runs and a bit more tuning before close. By the way the physics in Shift is really whacked. The Brake Bias is the wrong way round as well as a few of the suspension settings. As for the drift physics well they really cocked that one up. But then I suppose all you guys know this as you have already played through Shift. ( Only just got mine) Busy year last year. 2m 43.190 Wizard70 67 Corvette 9.98 - 52.190 Lap

Hey
I will share my tuning later today - perhaps it will help someone to improve. Tuning really depends on in game settings as well as Logitech profile settings.
Glad you liked the music I linked Wizard70 - has been some time since we have seen you in here in our PBRC´s - welcome back.

I am afraid my Vette campaign has come to an abrupt end. The game kept resetting the tuning settings to default every time I left the game and then came back. So in my infinite wisdom I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh copy intending to use my save game. Only snag is I now no longer have a 67 Vette. Does anyone have any ideas as to where it has gone or how I get it back? B
