There's no charger in the game, so I made my General out of the new Camaro SS... I bet Mopar folk will not be too pleased with this. Jussi

Maybe it's better to let Mr Lee rest in peace... Since there's a new General in town and he's from Europe! Jussi

LOL fond of EU are we Jussi? I myself sure do not feel European - more a Scandinavian or Viking.

I think I tried what you could call a speed bug tonight. I was playing online in a ranked match at Nordschleife and I noticed my car was going faster than normal - very powerful and i had trouble keeping it on track. It was able to do 360+ on the straight which it is not tuned to do. I noticed it right away when I was going 315 km/h on a surden point where I usually do about 300 km/h.
I guess something strange is going on here, whether it is other players in the room using a trainer I have no idea about - do not think so because the other guys were level 50 as well but 2nd fastest did 6.52 and me in front doing some experiments did 6.30 or something. Crashed a lot of times because the car was not handling like I was used to - but very fast.

I just had to do this too... Don't bother counting, the game counts them for us... Wonder what the vinyl limit per section is? Jussi

Is there anybody else who has their complete Friendslist back in EA Messenger?? I sure do. Still don't know what happend today. First I was playing Shift, no problem, except the friendslist in EA Messenger. Later on I went to play and then the 'warning' Your game isn't the same version as the servers. (or something like that) Which meant, no on-line play. (I haven't done any on-line playing yet, but that's beside the point. ) Went out for a bit, came back, started up the game again, and all was good. No more 'warning' and all my friends were back in EA Messenger.

Hey Does anyone know if G-forces when turning have an impact on the virtual driver in Shift? I just heard a loud outburst from the driver - expressing pain - in a turn at Glendale West. Or maybe it sounded more like he had to swallow, because his testicles went up his throat ! Have it on video too.... really funny... Poul

I just heard a loud outburst from the driver - expressing pain That sound is supposed to occur when you crash hard. It's a game bug, and I'm not sure what triggers it, other than it might be related to what is causing the bouncing bug, perhaps clipping a seam between the polygons used to form the track for the game's physics. I have this happen on straights, so it's not related to turning. I've also notice that when viewing or recording replays you hear a noise that sounds similar to the car scraping randomly and not related to the car scraping. I was going to make another video at Willow but gave up because I was getting these sounds once every 2 or 3 seconds which was annoying. You can hear this random sound in this video of the Murc at Road America: rcgldr.net/nfss/nsramur.wmv

Unlike you three guys I hit the wall more often, And yes the driver does go into a panic mode with the fast heart beat, blur vision and he also make a grunting sound, that sounds like Elvis trying to pass a meat loaf.
The track your talking about Jeff is it one of the Tokyo tracks? The car sounds like the muffler is draging the ground.

The Z06 I have does this at about 160 mph 255 kph, but I'm using high downforce (44/50).

I had something funny happen to me last night when trying out Cipriani´s setup. At some point loading a track my 14.00 GT-R SpecV´s tuning had changed its downforce, gear ratio and braking settings. I had used Cipriani´s tuning for 1/2 an hour or so - when suddenly my car sounded like a cat being pulled by the tail. I thought I might had gotten some sort of bug, but it turned out that the tuning was changed by the game and not me. Only those 3 settings were changed but funny that the game did it by itself. Anyone experienced something similar?
