Maybe this weekend (I'm having fun playing LevelR since last weekend). Can someone tell me if it's a way to change your persona name? What happened to HEAT ONLINE? Jussi

You can change you're profile by going to help.eastore.com/app/home and then login and you will see personal....but I tried that and it didn't work, the name in the game stayed the same..... Want to hear what I did to fix my save game file to work? I changed my personal profile back to Snnydv1970 from TheGreenMonster and my game file started saving my career...... I know it sounds weird but that all I did...... maybe it will work for you.. Spiko is this you? "heimchen1309" I don't want a bunch of people on my friends list that I don't know....

My sound gameplan: 1. Skip "Hot Pursuit 2010" (zero realism, no tuning, no lobby chat, bad G25 support, online tracks can not be practiced offline, ... ) 2. Wait 1 week and buy "Gran Turismo 5", release date November 24th. I have both PC and PS3. (PS3 160Gb costs just 300USD new, or 150 for used one, much cheaper than a good video card!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY98V1K271wwww.gran-turismo.com/us.gran-turismo.com/us/news/d5247p1.htmlOver 1000 real cars, full G25 support, all types of races including Nascar, 70 Tracks including Top Gear test track, Multiplayer races with 16 people, GT Facebook better than NFS Autolog, ... One of the best racing games ever! 3. Start playing Shift 2 in spring 2011 after beating everyone online in GT5 New Shift 2 Trailer looks very promising. Night races, good crash model, real life career mode, ... www.gforgames.com/games/news/speed-shift-2-unleashed-trailer-spectacular-crashes-slowmo-883/Let kids run from police, we are grown up Pro online racers.

Hmmkay, so i fixxed my stop-motion graphics problem by removing the old Catalyst drivers (2009 ) and installing the latest one.. It now runs fine on 1600x1200 with everything on I've also created a new profile on the Logitech Profiler program but this insane deadzone remains.. It sure is frustrating to see how Criterion did their very best to make this game worthy of carying the name 'Need for Speed' but had to settle with the limits of a game-console instead of the pretty much limitless options of the PC.. Once when i still was an EA moderator quite a while back, i wrote a strong 'petition' to make it clear to EA that they should design our beloved Need for Speed games for PC and then port it to the consoles though yet again we get a game which one can see was made with style and devotion but yet lacking enough functionalities which should be só easy to implement if only the design process started out with the PC in mind.. Bummer. Positive conclusions to come, Bandit

Dear Bandit, I am afraid I need to show these numbers again: investor.ea.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=496057EA Console net revenues are 3 times higher than ones from PC. Console gamers base is much bigger and wider than one of PCs. Consoles are much cheaper to buy and maintain than PCs. Unfortunately, THERE IS NO POINT FOR EA TO DESIGN A GAME FOR PC MARKET AND THAN ADAPT IT TO CONSOLES! Moreover, G25 and wheel owners in general are not a target group of the Hot Pursuit game series. It is more important that the game is playable with the keyboard. Let kids run from police, we are grown up Pro online racers. P.S.: Probably, by switching focus to the pad/keyboard players and eliminating manual shifting EA solved the huge issue of "fair play"; because, as we all know, in all recent NFS titles, ownership of the steering wheel gave unfair advantage to the racers, made them faster then padders or keyboarders just because of having expensive gadget.

Jussi Looks to me that Invictus changed the "test server" name to "Heat Online". I don't think the game will ever come out of beta stage. Also they don't care for our suggestions neither our opinion about the game play, so I figure why waste my time with heat when I can play a game very similar to PT and I start playing LevelR (and I'm having a good time). Spiko PS by the way, the Leila build really sucks, and I'm glad LevelR's Kitti version is NOT the same with Heat's version (heat had no sim option, no explorer mode less maps and tracks ect).

I read that MFSDrew has adressed the issue of Logitech not being supported on PS3, which means that if they decide to "fix" that mistake, they might also throw in a patch for the PC that will eliminate the deadzone issue people have when playing this game on a PC with wheel. I think Logitech is a too big of a brand not to be ignored in a racing game, the complaints on forums about this problem is growing and perhaps a patch will come for PC - a NFS game without a patch - never happend before Poul

...a NFS game without a patch - never happend before Remember how we had to wait for Carbon 1.4 patch all the way to June of 2007, even though the 1.3 patch came out (if I remember correctly) on December 2006. Jussi

dimitrikhoz you tight wad This is a really cool racing game,,, Even you would like it.. The lower tier cars are slower and don't handle as well but once you're at bounty lvl 13 and you unlock all the high performance exotic sport cars...they handle pretty damn good,,, here are my Wheel settings for who ever to compare with My sound gameplan: 1. Skip "Hot Pursuit 2010" (zero realism, no tuning, no lobby chat, bad G25 support, online tracks can not be practiced offline, ... ) 2. I have sorted out my Crashing To Desktop. After reading on the EA forums it seems that all quad-core users are having these problems. The way to fix it is to set the affinity to just 1 core (for me that is, some can use 2 cores). It slows down the game alot, but it is playable. Gonna see if SLI helps to improve game play... And I have started to use my 360 controller for this game, after reading all the issues with the G25.

You could try to disable multithreading instead and still use all cores? Poul
