Im not sure what the rev limiter is set at, i would think around 6500-7200 rpm. The old motors peak HP and torque was around 5500 i think. I just found out about them building the LS9 427 a few days ago. They had been using the stock LS3 block with LS9 427 heads last year when they ran the 8.99 quarter mile. This is Lingenfelters Camaro, so i dont know as much about it as i do my buddy Pauls, who is suppose to find out more about it this week when he takes his in to find out why his Camaro is knocking . I want to know why they are using LS3 heads on an LS9 motor? To keep the compression down is all i can think of, i cant wait to see what it will do though, with probably 50 more cubic inches and more torque, it should do mid 8's. I know watching that video made my d!ck hard! I dont think Paul will be doing any more to his car, it should run sub 9 second with the right conditions and a little more nos, which he seems happy with. Lingenfelters are using 2- 400 shots of nos, Paul is using one 300 shot. They basically have the same motors now. Lingenfelters built their own supercharger on their Camaro and Paul is running a Magneson(dont know if thats spelled correctly). Paul has a Hotchkiss track suspension and Lingenfelters has full custom drag suspenion from Pedders. I am still thinking about getting one when my truck is paid off next year, but i will probably get a used 2010 model, in silver, with a LS3 that already has some goodies, hopefully for around $20,000-$25,000 if im lucky. Edit- I just realized you said first video. The 1500 HP twin turbo? I dont know anything about that one. A big block doesnt normally run as high RPM as a small block, but with Lingenfelters building it, you never know, the rev limiter could be set at 10,000 RPM.

In case anyone is interested in knowing more about Lingenfelters Camaro and Lingenfelters themselves, here is a nice article from GM hightech performance. Specs for the Camaro from last year are on the 3rd page of the article. Not sure why they call it an LS9 motor, it only has LS9 heads, the block was not a LS9. Unless there is something im not aware of, LS3 and LS7 are 377ci blocks and LS9 is a 427ci block. www.gmhightechperformance.com/camaro/features/1104gmhtp_2010_chevrolet_camaro_ss/index.html
