That's because they apparently think they can collect cash by selling power-ups. Why not let us buy cars and upgrades with Boost instead? Jussi

Do you think you made wrong decisions with skills? What skills would you choose if you could pick again? Jussi

well, when you're level 50 (which im not yet), gaining rep becomes non-existent. Therefore, skills such as Terminator (Rep rewards for destroying cop cars increased 50% at 3/3) become useless. I would much rather take those 3 points and put them into Socialite (increase cash in multiplayer races) or Tycoon (increase cash in all race events). as it stands, i will only have 1 extra point once all the skills i need are acquired. That leaves me a bit short because of not realizing how effective some of the skills are.

Wheelz with your experience now, what would you recommend I choose for skills as I upgrade from my current level of 32? I have spent 27 points in races, 2 in pursuits (ram & cooldown) another 2 in free room (tycoon). I thought it would be nice to have ram to avoid people throwing around with my Elise, but now I am afraid that handling will be affected?

well, as far as race skills go, i have everything maxed except for the shield and traffic magnet skills. Ram i find to be helpful, so that is maxed as well. also, i plan on placing points into the ready cooldown in the explore section. anything else is extra really (unless ive forgotten something as i am doing this off of my memory).
just a side note, i wouldnt go further than 1 point in radar, seems a bit pointless to me.

Thanks, Poul...The points and classifications. Congratulations, Wheelz2448! You won this week's code. Please send me an email from the address you use for logging in to NFS World. My email is jusa2000 hotmail.com Use " 101017 - North Road - LVL 14 cars & parts" as the title of your mail. Also, here's a little interview for you (this week's code winner)...Q1: We here at ISRC often call each other by our first names, what is your name and what should we call you?Q2: We take pride in being International Street Racing Community, where are you from?Q3: Our virtual racers ages vary from teens to well over 50, how old are you?Q4: How did you find us and our PBRC's (picture based racing competitions)?Q5: How long have you been playing Need for Speed games?Q6: What other have played in the past (or still play regularly)?Q7: What kind of gaming equipment do you use?Q8: Are you going to stick around now that you already won the prize?Q9: What question did I forget to ask and what would have been your answer to it? Jussi PS. The prize has to be claimed by the time our next competition ends (101024)!

Q1: We here at ISRC often call each other by our first names, what is your name and what should we call you?My name is Jacob, but online I prefer to go by Wheelz because it fits the games I like to play. Q2: We take pride in being International Street Racing Community, where are you from?I'm from a small town in Connecticut, USA. As far as street racing goes, my 2001 Chevy Blazer isn't really a racer...at all xD Q3: Our virtual racers ages vary from teens to well over 50, how old are you?I am 18 Years old and a Freshman in college. (or university, however you call it) Q4: How did you find us and our PBRC's (picture based racing competitions)?Actually, Besix was looking for someone to do private races with so he wouldn't get hit with traffic magnet, so after helping him, I decided to try and beat his time. Q5: How long have you been playing Need for Speed games?Forever really. I have nearly all the NFS games, including the original Need for Speed. Q6: What other games have played in the past (or still play regularly)?Believe it or not, I am a huge Minecraft fan and enjoy playing that. And if I am not playing that or NFSW, you can probably find me playing Forza 3 or TF2. Q7: What kind of gaming equipment do you use?I have an intel i7 920 with a 512mb video card and 6GB of ram (and loads of HD space). I also use the older Logitech G15 keyboard and the G500 mouse. But for playing NFS, I use an original Xbox controller with a usb adapter end. Q8: Are you going to stick around now that you already won the prize?Absolutely! This competition was loads of fun and I'm looking forward to others you may have in the future. Q9: What question did I forget to ask and what would have been your answer to it?You forgot to ask what the answer to life, the universe, and everything is. And the answer to that is 42. xD But seriously now. What advice can you give to other competitors? Keep trying to get better times, even if you are a lower level because once you reach a higher level, you can carry over the skills developed before. And also, try not to get too frustrated, it is only a game after all. Thanks everyone and good luck to all in the next competition! edit: changed some formatting stuffs

Can I just point out a big flaw in this method of claiming the code? What if someone sees that a competition has ended, and that u ask to email u to claim the code, and decides to impersonate the winner? He'll just send you an email claiming the code and just saying he's the winner... That'll basicly get him the winner's code, right?
Might be better to PM the winner the exact title and text he has to email you?
