That mod sure looks to give people an advantage. "Adjusted tyre grip - minimised gear change delay, disabled grip reduction on Karrussel (banked corner at Nordschleife" - WTF?

Thats wrong. The overhaul mod reduces the grip level of cars, thats not cheating, thats overhauling and more realism for this game. So it is not for beginners, i think noone of you will do any fast laptime with this mod, its more for real drivers than arcade fans Add the Sharp tire mod 5.1 and you have nearly a sim

:/ i found the gtr pretty much like it is in real life emence grip lol and the aston was pretty good too cant comment on the others, but that mod sounds more like lets see how hard we can make the game.

I was Racing last night with Tomas and between races I was telling a fellow racer "DarkDRAGON" about our website and that we could help him increase his lap times..... btw DarkDRAGON is a clean racer. This guy grave was also in the room and he was way in the back of the pack not even finishing the races. I told him to join to, he never mentioned anything about using training wheels or having a modded game.... But most of these guys don't even have a driver’s license…. Using a trainer or what I like to call it, using (training wheels) they don’t like that expression in comparison of a shooter game is like using an atomic bomb to win a gun fight…. What’s the point I have a separate installation of Shift with the DLC pack and Overhaul Mod. Its great, highly recommended. And to matty it is cheating you're using a third party software thats not made by EA,,, if it was OK then EA would have made it into a patch.

You must be kidding me Do you really think that players using this mod will drive in lobbys with arcade handling players like you? Its a pity. This mod is intented to be played with pro handling and its reducing grip, changes some things SlightlyMad messed up, overhauls it to a simlike game and then i read some comments like "Yeah, it's clearly a mod for untalented cheaters. Funny it came from No Grip Racing." Untalented drivers. The only untalented drivers i know are them who uses Normal handling (made for newbies to racing games) and claims to be talented. Thats is really funny. While reading this site, im seeing some people believing that what they make is racing. Sorry, thats everything, but not racing at all. Ok, im coming from real Simulation games, and i think usual NFS players and Sim Racers are two completly different worlds, but its studding me that you make competitions with this kid handling so as that all the claimed "Records" are made with this... And then you criticise a mod, which is making the game harder and more realistic (and im involved in it), as a cheat tool So long

Matty how in the world will:
"Adjusted tyre grip - minimised gear change delay, disabled grip reduction on Karrussel (banked corner at Nordschleife"
give you worse grip? I thought that disabled grip reduction would mean that your grip gets better? Minimized gear change delay - now is that not making the gear change go quicker? Disabled grip reduction on Karussell? Now is that not giving you better grip on that particular strip?
If it is intended to make it more sim like, then it is great, but i would have thought you would change the grip to be worse - not better. Perhaps you should re wright the info on that mod and explain that it makes the game harder when installed?
But I will bet my ass that sesfontain can tell whether he thinks it´s faster or slower compared to racing without?

To matty the noob using the no grip, you’re either work for nogrip.com or you’re trying to advertise you’re cheats on our board, or maybe you’re name is one of these guys in our cheater list below. isrc2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=iupg&action=display&thread=797If you’re trying to convince use it legal to use it. Then please go wrecord.com/ and register you’re name and run any track of you’re choice then bring you’re lap times back here and post it, then we’ll talk about this subject in more detail. Until that time you’re just another noob that can’t drive. You must be kidding me Do you really think that players using this mod will drive in lobbys with arcade handling players like you? Its a pity. The "grip level" in shift is set with a multiple of 1 example: Novice gets 1.45x grip level 1.0 Pro gets 1.2x (lateral G +20%, Pro?) Overhaul adjust this value Novice gets 1.2x Pro gets 1.0x (why should it be more? Pro is Pro) Upshifting delays, matching to realistic values. Any other changes, you can read whats changed and mostly why here: www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=208349Laptimes Thread: Pro Shift vs Pro Overhaul www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=211550You will see that our fast drivers like shinsou are matching some real laptimes, with stock you blow them all.

Thast is a bit harsh Sunny, but as you mentioned, it´s a 3rd party mod. Just wish that whenever people make something like that, they should make it for unranked or offline races only. If you can make a mod that gives you worse grip, then it is also possible to give you better grip. Matty do not feel offended by Sunny - he just don´t like mods. Poul
