I get major lagg when racing this game....I at least sometimes get 25-35 fps racing shift but here on WO I get under 20 fps sometime even as low as 12......... I guess it has to look a bit more basic, since it's supposed to run on pretty standard equipment (laptops and such). It looks awesome compared to Undercover on my PS2 though. Jussi

I do not see why using a G27 would be better compared to using a G25 I am sorry fast4fun, but a video of that time - not exceeding the speed limit using a stock car - is required in my opinion for your time to be considered valid. Going 6 secs faster than everybody else in a stock car is not an easy job. I have been a member in ISRC since Pro Street, and we have always required a video if others are having doubts about an entry - this is something that all participated racers have accepted and understood. I remember having that same problem in one of the beta tests. Are you sure there was no trace of previous versions on your PC, when you installed the latest version? Jussi

Jeff or Spiko you guys out there.. Can you please race Palmont and see if a 1.34 is possible... Sunny, I'm done with this game for now. Maybe if they finish this Beta version and release a complete game I will try again. For now I'm spending my time playing Heat-Online (new PT version) and I'm waiting for Hot Pursuit and TDU2 release. Spiko Edit: Since Poul did 1.44.xx I think and he's using G wheel also (I don't think 25 or 27 makes a different), and knowing how he drives, makes the 1.34 time impossible. That's my take in this issue. fast4fun, talk is cheap. Provide a video within 1 sec of your posted time and you will be able to clear the "cheater" comment. Till then people will think (like I do) that you did cheat. You're running out of time.

I agree, there is no difference between a G25 and G27 wheel in performance,, the G27 has more buttons to choose from thats it...
Maybe Jeff can run the track and see what his best time is.
I just wonder... Maybe Jeff could run it will an upgraded version of the same car. At least we'll have an idea on what can be done on that track....
edit; O'yea Jussi I unstalled the game last night and found that I had installed the beta versions on both of my HD's after cleaning everything off and also cleaning the registry that WO does run a bit faster,, I'm now getting between 35-45 fps which is do-able...
my video setting are on meduim

This picture has been doctors... if you right click on the picture and do a save as, like you're going to copy it down to you're desktop the file extension is a png. which is a Paint shop pro file extension. It should be either a jpg or bmp extension and not png file... I have adobe photo shop pro, and I can take a picture and dismantle it ,,virtual tear the picture apart to see if it has and over lay on it..... I'll do that now,,,, but so far someone has doctor this file. Faster time: 1:34.43 - fast4fun - Nissan Silvia (S15) Stock

TheGreenMonster (PC)Srsly, dude.. PNG is just a image format. My all screenshots are in png, because there is no compression. But i convert them to jpg when i'm posting them online. Png has nothing to do with Photoshop, it's just a image format

I often use PNG images too, even for online (because they are more clear, just like BMP, but smaller files). But using PNGs eats up my Photobucket's bandwidth too fast, so now I use 90% JPGs. Jussi

I think mine runs just as well on medium and maximum. I use 1280x800 resolution. I'm quite certain that slow FPS with this game has more to do with Internet connection issues than PC power. Jussi PS. I'm glad to hear the game works for you. It may not be all that fantastic yet, but Black Box is building it all the time and adding new features as they get them working.

I can open any picture with Photo-shop, and dismantle it and tell if the picture has been modified or has an overlay on the original picture. However its been a long long time since I have last used it and at this point, I'd say no the picture has not been modified, Just4fun still the right to clear his name by making a video of his time..... My time of 1:34 is the same reason as RVXSHAFIEE007 I used the rear ending tactic, no one said that wasn't allowed Even before using that tactic, I still had the best time of 1:39. I was happy I found a good forum I was interested in and now I'm being dissapointed. I spent a lot of time in hopes of getting a code so hurry up and dismantle the pic, confirm no editing was done, and let me have my code please.

Its absolutely impossible to do a 1:34 of the Palmont track, not unless you can go flat out at all corners, and have the best performance kit ever, and even that won't satisfy. Like fast4fun said, the rear ending tactic works, but rendered going against the rule. So the only way to really go fast in a track in NFS World is 1)Take a private race with just one of your friends 2)Learn the track, and the braking and accelerator point, with the racing lines 3) Get ready your FRAPS for screeenshot every time you beat your own record. 4) FRAPS again, for recording just in-case you want to 5)Get the Perfect Launch skill for the non-SP players since its the best way to start early and fast.
