And i don't like the places above each car. It's written in the top right anyway. I can see how many cars are infront of me, and if i'm 3rd, the guy directly behind me must be 4th! I don't need it written on his roof.
And i still don't like the stopping every time something happens. A car, a heli, a spike. Stops the game million times in a race. I'd rather just have it pop up on screen well in advance and that's that. I hate how all the info pops up right in the middle of the screen. Very handy when you're going 200km/h. Would have been much better flashed at either the very top or bottom of screen, where all you see is sky or road and it doesn't much matter. Or if they must have it in the middle, at least in a smaller font.
I surely hope there will be a way to shut that down in game, just like previous games.

There must be a way to shut that down. You can't have that in online play either. Would be hell.
*stops* Ricardo joins pursuit. *stops again* Scud deployed spike strip. *stops once more* Kat runs over spike strip. *stops to the point it drives you insane* Kat gets out of car and starts running. *stop that put you in mental asylum* Jussi tries to stop her. *really see no point in starting now* But he runs into tree instead. *stopped counting the amount of stops* Bandit falls out of tree.
Yeah, the stopping is a bit over the top. I can see the point for a chopper or a new interceptor. But pointing out every road block takes out the skill of having to listen to the police radio and dodge surprise spike strips. And I like somersaulting cars, but it should be way harder to pull that off. It should be something you brag about to other people: "I sent two cops flying in a three hour pursuit."
And the reaction should be like "No fucking way, you're lying through your teeth!"
Yes, in all the videos, it just seems you have to ram into someone's side, and they flip over. Doesn't make sense. None of the crashes looked to me like they would have sent cars flying and flipping. It wasn't even this easy in MW. You had to position your car and hit them in the right spot if you wanted to spin them. But maybe you do in HP too, we don't know till we've played it. Only makes sense they put in all the exciting stuff in the vids.

Now thats a game trailer that I can relate too. Back in the day when the first hot pursuit came out, you use to be able to do the old pit maneuver and take out that cop car, in NFS-WO the pit maneuver doesn't work...
I also noticed on this trailer there are no Ali cars, wahoo damn I'm burnt out on police chases already just by playing WO. I just hope hot pursuit a better game than WO with allot less cars on the track...

Jussi who going to be a Moderator for this game? I elect me.....
I pre-ordered the digital download version last week and it said I would get the game one day early and I would get 4 additional cars if I purchased early so I am ready for freddie. I paid $53.xx US for the digital download version, which took me about 45 min to download Shift last year...
I like the idea of not having the CD in the CDROM. I keep the download store on my hard drive in case I need it again.
Scenery looks lovely. And i love those long arrows indicating where you're meant to turn. I'm not keen on the teeny little map, which isn't even a map. Does it ever show more? Or is all you get just your immediate area?
Jussi: Oh wow, the photobucket 3rd party hosting service is only $399.99 per year.

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): Haven't it been quite dead for a while now? It's really a shame, as back when this was awesome place to hang out, and, well. I did stop being that active here, as unfortunatelly I kind of lost my love towards Need For Speed games. It's a shame, really...

CmdrTomalak (PC/PS3/PS4): Yep. Dead. Dead. Dead... Somebody should put it out of its misery. It all started waaaaaay back when Most Wanted came out and we all met on the EA forums and decided to branch out on our own. Sad way to go...

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): And unfortunately, the way Need For Speed games were for quite long time didn't help this place at all, for starters, I dropped off from NFS games completely. I did get both Shifts, Hot Pursuit (2010) and later Rivals, but they weren't enough...

Chandrian: I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players.
Sept 7, 2018 14:15:36 GMT
Chandrian: The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server.
Sept 7, 2018 14:15:53 GMT
Chandrian: You have to start with a new driver profile, but the progression isn't that hard. If you wanna play NFSW online again, then I advise downloading the launcher of this online server and also joining this Discord server:
