I wonder what it will take to play Grid 2 in 120+ fps? Not much fun in having a 120 Mhz monitor, if I am not getting that kind of fps with my current hardware. Poul Hello Poul, I would say they have optimized the game really well! I am getting well over 150 fps on all the tracks i have raced on, on medium settings. I am going to try high and ultra settings here in a few, i can post benchmarks if you would like. You should be able to keep 120fps with your system, i would think, on medium settings at least.

Here are a few benchmarks with my system. As with most new games, you will need to run SLI/Crossfire or have the new GTX Titan to run on Ultra graphic settings and get good fps. Grid2 looks great on high however. @poul, i am getting 150+ fps on medium settings, i think your system should get 120+ on medium as well. Ultra High

Yes, if I was able to run in SLI, but I gave away one of my 460`s - so I guess I will have to buy a new one - finally I am thinking Nvidia GTX 770 - damn if I will be willing to pay 900$ for a GTX 780 - when the GTX 770 can be had for 570$ Prices in Denmark are horrible Poul

$570.00 for a 770? thats not bad... a GTX680 will cost almost that here. The 680 will also run any game out now on ultra settings with playable fps .

It must be the money /conversion rate in Denmark over the USA... There's my new video card $409.00 for a GTX 770 over $400.00 GTX 670...What Manufactor video card would you get Poul??? The "GTX 770" are price between $399.00 to $450.00 depending what mfg you buy from.. GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready To Aaron] what's that trash on your screen upper left hand corner...hmmm www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463Yes, if I was able to run in SLI, but I gave away one of my 460`s - so I guess I will have to buy a new one - finally I am thinking Nvidia GTX 770 - damn if I will be willing to pay 900$ for a GTX 780 - when the GTX 770 can be had for 570$ Prices in Denmark are horrible Poul

I havent looked into that GTX770 to see how good it is, but ill be surprised if its much better than the 680. Trash? not sure what you mean... The blue lettering is MSI Afterburner, so i can see my gpu temps(which are a little high after that benchmark for some reason ) if thats what your talking about. You should be using that too if your gpu is overclocked.

From the reviews there is little difference between how good they overclock. Techpower reviewed 3 different manufacture cards today and they can fairly deliver same fps. But the highest overclock without throttling was the Gigabyte card, with a little more than 1300 MHz GPU clock - for an hour or so I think it was. I can´t remember what review that was in, but it´s an important issue if the card starts throttling down after a short time of playing.
But even the reference Nvidia design will be a very good buy.

Thanks for the good advice Poul...I just bought the Gigabyte GTX 770 for $416.95 including shipping...7/10 days for delivery . watch this review on this video card... once you open the page scroll down a few inches and click on the video review www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463From the reviews there is little difference between how good they overclock. Poul I wonder why its so cheap compared to when the 600 series came out. Sounds like a great card, but i still would like to see some benchmarks compared to the 680. Edit- the benchmarks for the 770 are 5% to 10% better than the 680 and from what i just read, they are virtually the same card(based on the Nvidia base card) other than a small increase in memory(7g for the 770 over 6g for the 680) and base clock speed(40mhz higher for the 770). Yet the 680 is still around $520.00. Sounds you your getting a really good card for that price.

I just ran the test in GRID 2 and my results on ULTRA are: Average: 59.56 Min: 45.82 Max: 75.73 I just upgrade my pc last week. I now have Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard Intel i7 3770k processor Asus GTX680 graphicscard with 4 Gb Ram 8 Gb Corsair Vengeance memory So I'm pretty happy with these results. Got nothing overclocked.

Hey Ricardo,, I check out your stats and you have a bad azz system... I love that motherboard...but your video benchmarks appear to be a lot slower than what I expected....? ARe you running 64 bit or 32 bit I just ran the test in GRID 2 and my results on ULTRA are: Average: 59.56 Min: 45.82 Max: 75.73 I just upgrade my pc last week. Thanks for me having 'a bad azz system'. What results did you expect? I am running Windows 7 64 bit, otherwise I would have had nothing to do with the 8Gb of Ram. All I know is that I can play my games at much higher settings and still the framerate is over 200% higher. So I am very happy with this. I don't know if my harddrives could be the problem, because they are from 2007... They certainly are the problem in the Windows Performance Index.

It must be the hard drives.....an SSD drive for the OS is the way to go... Thanks for me having 'a bad azz system'. What results did you expect?
