I'm in understanding that French cars like Renault Clio and Citroën C4 might have lower insurance rate than those more popular Civic's and Ford's. Jussi

Its a good car i like it but there is a few issues most anoying one is no way to get an aux port on the stereo, secondly i want a white car again they are so much cooler and 3rd and most importantly power mines a 1.6 this is a 2 litre.

I know the Golf GTI and the Focus (both driven, friends cars) I would sugest you the GTI. Its a very easy and very sportive car and the DSG Gearbox is simply perfect. You can drive it in the city, like a cruiser or why not on the race track, its the best compromise to me And dont forget its a VW, this car wont loose as much value than other ones. Greetz Marco

Nik, cheap to run? Of course not. I'm not talking about cheap to run, i'm talking about performance. You can't have both. And let's face it, a V8 sounds a heck of a lot better than a 2L What kind of roads do you have where a normal sized sedan won't fit? Obviously i'm joking around If you can find a slightly older Golf, maybe that's the way to go. But the Fiesta is a good choice too.

Older golfs are rubbish its got to be a mk1 which is too old for me or the new one all the rest are just not that good, besides today i want a 2.5L 250bhp turbocharged focus does that sound better kat

The stripes on that Fiesta are going to attract some attention... in a bad way. You get used to being stared down by every cop you drive past eventually, but it's something to think about (bright red or loud and black will do this, also). Golf for me, Focus in second.

Thats another thing im not sure about coz stripes are cool but i like keeping a low profile might just get it in a different colour.

2 little blue stripes attract that much attention over there? You guys got some strict cops. Paint jobs on more performance-based cars here are pretty standard with stripes, loud colour etc. And can i be really honest and admit that i wouldn't mind some attention on a nice looking car. As long as your car is legit (not lowered too much or too loud) what can they do? And yeah Nik, the 2.5, 250hp turbocharged does sound a bit better
