Look guys and gals! US Server - FPS under 20 at all times EU Server - FPS above 30 at all times So, this is why I was having my FPS ranging from under 15 to over 50. Jussi PS. First picture is from multiplayer, but I got the same sort of FPS doing the singleplayer events too, when I was on US Server.

I don't see how framerate could be linked to connection. Still my connection to Vancouver isn't near as good as what I get locally. Regardless, this is something that HAS to be fixed. -Dwight

Regardless, this is something that HAS to be fixed. That is why it is extremely impostant to send those files to send... C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\NFS World\data\ NFSWO_COMMUNICATION_LOG.txt...to drew@needforspeed.com and specify FAO (what ever that is). Jussi

I think frame rate would depend of video performance right? the faster video card the faster the frame rate. Aaron didn't have any video lag issue's last night and I only had it once or twice.
The NFS World doesn't have a high end video requirment. on minium setting.... 128MB
Here in a few days I'm going to get that ATi 4890 card for my PC $179.00 compare to (Regrio) $300.00 ASUS video card. I have the NVidia GTS-250 1GB card. The guys that can record the video's are the guy's that have the fastest video's cards and a lot less lag........ (edit) there are also internet lag issue's which also slows down the computer, slow internet causes the cars to blink on/off or disappear on the track.... to the driver having the internet lag the game will appear to be bogging down and running slower, and making the game not very much fun.

I do not know what causes this, but today I had to launch the game 3 times, before I got good FPS. 1st launch "Click any key" screen had about 80 FPS (EU server) 2nd launch "Click any key" screen had about 60 FPS (US server) 3rd launch "Click any key" screen had about 130 FPS (EU server) I know that if that first screen has FPS under 100, the game is going to have bad FPS, but if it's above, the game will run great. I can only assume, this has something to do with the connection to the servers, since my own hardware and settings are the same. Jussi

Well I am still getting the slowdown although it takes longer to happen. One good thing is my starting in-race framerate is higher(50+ fps), but once the game gets under 30 fps I start hiting things and at 20 fps it is game over.

To be honest i didnt notice any fps issues at all ever and my connection is good but by no means great i think there must be some other factors in this too.

I did notice a difference in fps during this first Beta testing.. Not sure how or when but they where there; And for me it was the same during the first 1/5 day on 1280x1024 as well as the last 1/5 day on 1600x1200... The game actually 'felt better' in 1600x1200 ... Bandit (knows for sure it has got nothing to do with 'Alt-Tab' and/or background programs)
