I kind of met my first but yesterday... (already reported) during pursuit, I hit the key and used the Instant Evade powerup; even on the screen it said EXACTLY that. Next screen though? Busted. I think I had more than $500, next thing (page) said ONLY -$500. That profile has $0... (Believe they took more than what was said, or something wasnt right there... hmm...) Made a new profile (driver) to test, just using a different car that time... going to pay more attention when I'm on again... like going now... (few minutes) meh, random screenie:

But note the money thing in the top right corner says $0, how could I have paid that -$500? it probably should be saying -500 instead of 0. Or, maybe they meant to put $500 and not MINUS 500... hmm.... Noticed now I had lost my money (bug?) I had left before gettin in that pursuit.... Still have my car. Some game bug...

Awww I saw Bandit online... he must have gotten it to work... I've been trying for the last hour in half 8:00AM -9:30AM EST to get a online race started, the queueing system must be down. I que 4 or 5 different tracks with a lot of races near by, and Notta nothing que ran for 15 mins or more.... I will try again,,, had a lot of fun last night racing Aaron talking on Team Speak,,, trying to find Spiko and Fishy... I maxed out "FishyMCO" and have switched to "FishHead". Unfortunately the framerate problems have me miffed and I haven't been playing much. -Dwight

Unfortunately the framerate problems have me miffed and I haven't been playing much. [/quote] Have you tried closing and relaunching the game (and trying different server)? That does the trick for me. Changes the frame rate from below 20 to 40 and more (if I get a good connection). Also read this if you experienced changes in frame rate. Jussi

I've been capturing videos, but I haven't processed them yet. One guy invited players to the campus parking lot (the one you use for Clubhouse and Hollis (one of the tracks in the Most Wanted demo), so I got some video of that. Also a few single and multiplayer events.
For career advancement and powerups, use Lincoln Blvd, as it's less than 1:30 for the Lotus and BMW. Prior to that, use Spade Street which is less than 2:00 for the Charger. No need to use powerups there, so you can build up shots of nitrous, although it's time consuming since it's a random marker.
Maximum cash is $999,999. I reached this rebuilding nitrous at Lincoln Blvd.
The powerup for launches and nitrous get stronger if you keep repeating a race at the same track. If you've maxed out the settings (stage 4 or 5), it eventually overwhelms the car, resulting in a glitchyand slower start if you're stuct with a button for throttle like me.
I did a few pursuits. The pursuit breakers aren't as effective, and unless you choose the radar powerup, you can't tell where the cops are, which keep spawning at the higher levels. I still haven't found out how to get "pursuit point" to unlock stage 4 ram power up.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of multi-player races, which doesn't bode well for the premise of the game.

Disliking the arrow keys for races, usually ALWAYS come in last no mater if I use them power ups or not. single player races for now...
hmm...

When I played for a few hours this evening I never had to wait for multiplayer opponents, there were always races going on. Going to record some more stuff now in single player and then upload a lot of video footage during the week.

Nice, I have the same analysis about the perfect launch bug and made one or two vids of it But the bug will also occur if you vary the races, not necessarily repeating the same one. It goes back to normal when you reboot the game. I also got the max cash... I wonder if it's still counting or not though, didn't try to buy something to see if 999 999 is still displayed. Found out that if you (shortly) hit brakes in the air, the car will slow down at landing.

They need to mellow down the traffic cars. 10th time since the launch of beta that I lost a race because of a traffic car running me into a divider.

They need to mellow down the traffic cars. 10th time since the launch of beta that I lost a race because of a traffic car running me into a divider. I and at least one other player figured out that if you use the pursuit ram powerup, which increases the weight of car 200%, tripling the weight), most of the traffic will bounce off your without slowing it much. It also renders the traffic magnets used by other players in multi-player races almost useless.
