Well, first because it costs pretty much, but mostly because I'm renovating and actually have plans for a fancy mobile DIY wheel and chair setup. =) I will buy a G27, just not yet. It's interesting to get that confirmed. I remember, looking at some of Pouls videos, especially in the lower ratings, I got the feeling (from listening to the sound) that there were some both braking and throttle at the same time allowing for more control in corners. Youre right about the pad-controller. I doesnt matter if I release the throttle or not while braking. Although I can set the brake on a pressure sensitive button, which I dont, it doesnt matter, as soon I press the brake, it's only braking and no throttle. Well now I got even more motivated to turn my living room into a car seat There are some people that drive without ABS with pad and have very good times too though, but I guess it's a whole different technique compared to wheel drivers.

I am pretty sure the wheel is the same way, I tried serveral times to do a burnout by pressing the gas and the brake at the same time, and it wouldn't do it......the brake pedal overrides the gas pedal. However when I am racing I use both feet.

Monster, if you choose a Profiler for your Wheel with Single Axis, then it will be the same as for Gamepad... To use both things at the same time you need to have Split Axis... Assuming you have a G25, you leave Profiler default in this option (Report Combined Pedals unchecked) and in Shift you must choose the Controller Preset 6 (G25 Separate Pedals).
Cya!

Dunno, Mr Joe Dirt helped me set this all up, I did check the presents and mine is set to 5, Aaron told me that my wheel is setup the same as his and Poul's, except for the amount of FFB
I would be curous to see what settings Poul & Aaron both have on presents. Maybe this is my missing link.... I texted Aaron to reply to this thread

That is why you feel the same as the Gamepad players! :S Rogério

Well, good news for Sunny - and I will prolly order a G27 when the next pay check arrives. Along with this: www.wheelstandpro.com/order.htmlThe videos in the site seem to prove what they want until I realized that the thing was leaned against the guys bed side. Any experiences of this product?

I blame it all on Joe Dirt2, He helped me configure everything and get everything working in sink. we must have missed this parameter, I did change the present to 6 and re calibrated wheel all the controls. Still feels the same as before,
I didn't check to see if I could brake torque it.
Nice setup Tomas, How does that stand keep the padels on the floor from sliding? I have hard wood floors and had to bolt down the pedals to keep them from sliding out.

tomast, excelent choice, I would make the upgrade to G27 if I had the money now! ;P About the Stand, I never tried that particular model, but know about similar ones, and it works. The chair in that picture sucks for it though! Monster, go try it! ;P And make sure Profiler has also the Report Combined Pedals unchecked. Rogério

Thank You Rogério
I would like to retract my statement that I made about 20% more throttle. It's just about the same however I do have a lot more control over the car in the turns. It made a noticeable difference..
Jeff and I were talking about this same thing in another thread, that had to do with controller configuration.
Thanks again for the help

What we were talking about tonight while racing.... will that stand work with FFB enable, looks to flimsey to me, You might tear it off the stand the first few times, till you get it setup right. However the stand looks cheap so if it doesn't work you can always build a table.
