Well, practically, I'm an online driver, never chased lap times like this, and probably that time isnt the best I've done driving wise cause I've done nordschleife so many times and it's my favourite track. So I think it's a bigger accomplishment that you pulled that time off from not knowing the track before. Here's the video of the whole track. It's alot of mistakes but it roughly shows the line and style I'm using. It's very different because I cant use throttle and brake at the same time as you guys with wheel and pedals. It's good enough for a 6:th place at wrecord though. You can see all parts this way Aaron, and the mistakes are quite obvious on the video, just a matter of getting a little cleaner lap. And off course I forgot that fraps recorded my radio again

Awesome time Norman - can we see the video? I really wanna know if I lose time in the 1st part or if it is later on compared to you. My guess is that you are able to have a higher speed than me in the curves in the first 42 secs or so. And I think also you know how to take that last terrible slow turn faster than me. That turn takes me a full 7 secs.

video is in process, hope will run in next 30min! So u lose to much time with ur sliding in the corners! if u drive perfect u dont lose time in first sector, in this run im 0,3s slower then my best, but had a good 2nd sector, 3rd sector was good but not perfect! edit: video of this run, www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOH0vxPhpT4Norman

What did you guys do on the setup to make the Zonda so tame without jumping and such? And so fast also of course.Esp. Grnkjr0's Zonda accelerates heavily:-O I think I'll also make a vid showing my style on that track soon. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum WR ,Cipriani!(Congratz to the wr)

Hey I slide too much Norman? Well I would like to know how I can avoid that, besides you are not that much faster than me in the first 42 secs. I knew you had a different racing line than me in the 1st 42 secs of racing, but as you can see it is not faster. You are only 0.3 secs faster than me on that first part and I have done that 0.5 secs faster than in the video. I will have to say we are about the same in the first part, besides me sliding a lot. If you look at these next pictures, you can see that you are 0.6 secs faster than me here which means you gained another 0.4 secs in the straights and then are 0.3 secs faster than me in that terrible slow corner at the end. In the video your run is totally smooth without any acceleration hiccups - I mean the car does not slide in the rear at all - could you tell me what wheel settings you are running Norman? I think I have too much sensitivity. Anyway awesome run, but I will try to improve my run practicing that last part where I lose the most. Poul

Cipriani I asked how com your run is so smooth in that video and if you could tell me wheel settings and you told me I slided too much. Yes I can see I slide too much, but how to avoid it?. Now if you think your settings and the other stuff are secrets, that is fine by me, but a reply would be nice I have done a bit faster than my previous time - a 2.02.550, but it was not a good 2nd and 3rd sector. I have been able to improve my 1st sector a lot. Look at this picture where I am about 0.8 secs faster than when i did that 2.02.820 run. I am getting there - just need a lot of time testing things. Cipriani has mastered one more corner than you on the track Poul, that might be it? ;P
Didnt Cipriani say something in the inner circle about using another wheel with less degrees of rotation? The sensitivity and stuff probably cant be straightly transferred then I guess?
I btw recently realized that I had forgot to change the sensitivity settings for my little gamepad since I had to start over with Jeffs save, that's why I couldnt feel right since that and also why I'm all over the place in my video. It's really impossible to keep good speed in any part of the track when the car is turning that agressive.
For those (if there are any more) that use x-box controller I recommend using these settings as a base: Steering Dead Zone-15% Accel Dead Zone-10% Brake Dead Zone-10% Steering sensitivity-5% Acell Sensitivity -5% Brake sensitivity-5% Speed steering Sensitivity 100%

still using my old settings, all to max! couldnt find other which helps me, or helps for a better feeling! dont have much time in the next month for this game, and its a bit boring to play this game!
About sliding, how can i explain it? u drive to aggressive, i think! think have only to do with smooth steering and racingline, me happen this often too, but then im in wrong way!

We seem to have a problem,,, Dreamgate posted as roughneck? thats not legel posting....
who am I talking to Dreamgate or roughneck,,, who ever follow the pictures, Look at Cipriani at the top, 1. snap shot of the car you selected 2. snap shot of the time on the track after the race.
you have the rest right.... just change your pictures around.. and race the track on your computer not someone elses....

Then you will need to re-race the track and take the right snap shots of the finishing time. One driver one name, same track same posting......
You both have an account on this website, so there shouldn't be a problem, Dreamgate can post his time under his name.....
