Bug: The 1997 911 allows class 1 and 2 carbon fiber quarterpanels. Fix: Only allow the class 2 carbon fiber quarterpanel. This zip contains a savegame with all of the above fixes and all cars in the game. It will work with either the original or the fixed nfs5.car. rcgldr.net/nfs5/nfs5carf.zipThis zip contains a replacement for fedata\data\nfs5.car. It's only useful if you're redoing career, because the data in nfs5.car is copied into your savegame whenever you buy or win a car. Any existing cars in your savegame will not have the fixed made to nfs5.car. rcgldr.net/nfs5/nfs5carfix.zip

I always thought 550 A Spyder only had slicks because it was a race car. Jussi

No - due to a bug in the file NFS5.CAR, the 550A Spyder has no links to tire parts. If you look at the available parts list, you won't see any tires. The fixes I made add the links to the 550A Spyder tires that are kept in NFS5.PRT, in both NFS5.CAR, and in an exsiting savegame.
You'll notice the difference if you try the fixes. It ends up the way it was intended to be, and although it's still slower than a fully upgrades 1967 911, it's just fast enough to win the classic club events in evolution mode.
